The 'Records of the Five Elements' says that when people go against the common will, the fish in the Yellow River swim upstream, so the words in the 'Yilin' are inauspicious." For the first yang position of the Hexagram Kun, "Stepping on the frost, the solid ice will come." 0772 同人之蒙 [三只黑色的公羊和五只母羊,相互跟随一起行走]三只黑色公羊与五只母羊。解释《杂卦》中 “同人,亲也。” (意思是同人卦,象征着亲和)[迷失方向进入空旷的湖泽,途中遭遇六驳兽]空泽,指空旷的湖泽。六驳,是一种兽名,也简称为驳。解释屯卦的卦名,意为艰难困顿。《尔雅》解释 “畜” 中 “驳,像马,有锯牙,能吃虎豹。” [被(六驳兽)伤害]解释蒙卦六四爻 “困蒙,吝。” 尚氏注释 “被伤害的意思,是说羊被驳这种兽抵触受伤。《诗经・秦风・隰有六驳》,传:驳,像马。陆玑说:驳马,就是梓榆。树皮青白相杂,远远看去像驳马,所以叫做驳。下一章说‘山有苞棣,隰有树隧’,说的都是树木,这里不应该说是兽。这里《易林》的词句说‘经涉六驳,为所伤贼’,正是引用《诗经》的语句,也把六驳当作树木,和陆玑的解释相符。” 尚氏的注释不妥当。《易林》既然用了 “伤贼”,八只羊为什么会因为六驳兽而受伤,又变成被梓榆木抵触受伤呢? [集注]1556 无妄之观,3432 归妹之解,3681 兑之遯,3885 中孚之萃。

Interpreting in the "Miscellaneous Hexagrams", "Tongren means affinity." [Getting lost and entering the open lake and marsh, encountering the Liu Bo beast on the way.] Kong Ze refers to the open lake and marsh. Liu Bo is the name of a beast, also simply called Bo. Interpreting the name of the Hexagram Tun, it means hardship and difficulty. In the "Erya" interpreting "Livestock", "Bo is like a horse, with saw-like teeth and can eat tigers and leopards." [Being injured by (the Liu Bo beast).] Interpreting the fourth yang position of the Hexagram Meng, "Being trapped in ignorance, it is regrettable." Shang's annotation: "The meaning of being injured means that the sheep are hurt by the Bo beast. In the 'Book of Songs · Qin Feng · Xi You Liu Bo', the commentary says: Bo is like a horse. Lu Ji said: Bo Ma is the ziyu tree. The bark is a mixture of green and white, and it looks like a Bo horse from a distance, so it is called Bo. In the next chapter, it says 'There are luxuriant di trees on the mountain, and there are sui trees in the low-lying land', all referring to trees. Here, it shouldn't be said to be a beast. The words in the 'Yilin' here say 'Encountering Liu Bo on the way and being injured', which are exactly quoting the words from the 'Book of Songs' and also regard Liu Bo as a tree, which is consistent with Lu Ji's explanation." Shang's annotation is inappropriate. Since the "Yilin" uses "injured", why are the eight sheep injured by the Liu Bo beast and then it becomes being injured by the ziyu tree? [Going east and climbing Mount Tai, going south and passing through the states of Qi and Lu.] Interpreting the hexagram image of the Hexagram Meng, "A spring gushes out from under the mountain, Meng. A gentleman should cultivate his moral character with decisive actions." [The whole country is joyful.] Interpreting the fifth yang position of the Hexagram Xu, "Waiting with wine and food, it is auspicious when divined." The annotation in the Sibu says: "The Yellow Emperor built a city at the bend of Zhuolu Mountain. His migrations were not fixed. He took the army as the camp and escort. Later, he got six ministers and the heaven and the earth were governed. The gods came, and the countries of the distant barbarians all came to pay tribute."

 

0774同人之訟[履危不安, 心欲東西]釋同人九四"乘其墉, 弗克攻, 吉." 言強爭和同於人而能知過自退, 可獲吉祥. [步步逐鹿]釋需卦名, 等待時機. [空無所得]釋九四"不克訟, 復即命, 渝, 安貞吉."

0774 同人之讼 [踏上危险的境地而内心不安,心思想要向东西两边(摇摆不定)]解释同人卦九四爻 “乘其墉,弗克攻,吉。” 意思是强行争着和同于人却能知道过错而自行退下,能够获得吉祥。 [一步一步地追逐鹿(可能象征着追求利益等)]解释需卦的卦名,意为等待时机。 [最终什么都没有得到]解释讼卦九四爻 “不克讼,复即命,渝,安贞吉。” (意思是诉讼失败,回心转意,遵守命令,改变态度,守持正道可获吉祥)

0774 From the Hexagram Tongren to the Hexagram Song [Stepping into a dangerous situation and feeling uneasy, the mind wants to sway to the east and the west.] Interpreting the fourth yang position of the Hexagram Tongren, "Climbing onto the city wall but unable to attack, it is auspicious." It means that when forcefully trying to harmonize with others but being able to recognize the fault and retreat on one's own, one can obtain good fortune. [Chasing the deer step by step (maybe symbolizing the pursuit of benefits, etc.).] Interpreting the name of the Hexagram Xu, it means waiting for the right moment. [In the end, getting nothing.] Interpreting the fourth yang position of the Hexagram Song, "Unable to win the lawsuit, returning to follow the order, changing the attitude, and maintaining the right path is auspicious."

 

0775同人之師[望尚阿衡, 太宰周公]釋同人彖"文明以健, 中正而應, 君子正也. 唯君子為能通天下之志." [藩屏湯武]釋訟六三象"食舊德, 從上吉也." [立為侯王]釋師九二象"在師中吉, 承天寵也. 王三錫命, 懷萬邦也." [集注]0114坤之鼎, 1261觀之萃, 1968咸井, 2952困之比.

Only a gentleman can understand the wills of the people all over the world." [Becoming the protective barrier for King Tang of Shang and King Wu of Zhou.] Interpreting the symbolic statement of the third yang position of the Hexagram Song, "Enjoying the old virtues, it is auspicious to follow the superior." [Being supported to become a marquis or a king.] Interpreting the symbolic statement of the second yang position of the Hexagram Shi, "Being in the army and it is auspicious, because of receiving the favor of heaven. The king bestows orders several times to appease numerous states." 0776同人之比[白龍黑虎, 起伏俱怒]釋同人九五象"大師相遇, 言相克也." [戰於阪泉, 蚩尤敗走]釋師六三"師或輿尸, 凶." [死於魚首]釋比上六"比之無首, 凶." 魚, 各本俱作魯. 孫作雲”按易林中言蚩尤死於魯首, 滍水正出魯陽, 似即蚩尤敗亡之地. 史稱黃帝殺蚩尤於涿鹿之野, 當亦即此. 又愚説, 涿鹿之野即龍蛇之野. 而滍水, 魯縣並為一地. 滍魯即涿鹿之音轉. 由此可知, 河南魯山縣滍水之地, 實在為蚩尤之故墟, 可斷言之.” [集注]0083坤之臨, 0221蒙之坎, 2632益之比.

0776 同人之比 [白色的龙和黑色的虎,一起起伏咆哮,充满愤怒]解释同人卦九五爻的象辞 “大师相遇,言相克也。” (意思是大军相遇,意味着相互克制)[在阪泉发生战斗,蚩尤战败逃走]解释师卦六三爻 “师或舆尸,凶。” (意思是军队可能会载着尸体归来,有凶险)[死在鱼首(各版本多作 “鲁首”)这个地方]解释比卦上六爻 “比之无首,凶。” 鱼,各个版本都写作 “鲁”。孙作云说 “根据《易林》中说蚩尤死在鲁首这个地方,滍水正好发源于鲁阳,似乎这里就是蚩尤战败灭亡的地方。史书记载黄帝在涿鹿之野杀死蚩尤,应当也就是这个地方。又有一种说法,涿鹿之野就是龙蛇之野。而滍水、鲁县是同一个地方。滍、鲁就是涿鹿的读音转变。由此可知,河南鲁山县滍水这个地方,实在就是蚩尤的故地,可以肯定地这样说。” [集注]0083 坤之临,0221 蒙之坎,2632 益之比。

0776 From the Hexagram Tongren to the Hexagram Bi [The white dragon and the black tiger rise and fall together, roaring with anger.] Interpreting the symbolic statement of the fifth yang position of the Hexagram Tongren, "When the great armies meet, it means they restrain each other." [There was a battle in Banquan, and Chi You was defeated and fled.] Interpreting the third yang position of the Hexagram Shi, "The army may carry the corpses back, it is ominous." [Dying in the place of Yu Shou (most versions write it as Lu Shou).] Interpreting the top sixth line of the Hexagram Bi, "Following without a leader, it is ominous." Yu, in all versions, is written as "Lu". Sun Zuoyun said: "According to what is said in the 'Yilin', Chi You died in the place of Lu Shou. The Zhi River just originates from Luyang. It seems that this is the place where Chi You was defeated and perished. Historical records say that the Yellow Emperor killed Chi You in the wild of Zhuolu, and it should be this place. There is another saying that the wild of Zhuolu is the wild of dragons and snakes. And the Zhi River and Lu County are the same place. Zhi and Lu are the pronunciation changes of Zhuolu. From this, it can be known that the place of the Zhi River in Lushan County, Henan Province, is indeed the former land of Chi You, and this can be said for sure." 0777 同人小畜 [载着石头上山,脚步踉跄无法前进]解释同人卦九四爻的象辞 “乘其墉,义弗克也。其吉,则困而反则也。” (意思是登上城墙,从道义上说是不能攻克的。之所以吉祥,是因为陷入困境后能返回正确的法则)[皱着眉头的忧愁,得不到所喜欢的东西]嚬,同 “颦”。解释比卦六三爻 “比之匪人。” (意思是亲近不应当亲近的人)[长久地思念,忧愁叹息]䆁小畜卦六四爻 “有孚,血去惕出,无咎。” (意思是心怀诚信,摆脱血光之灾和忧惧,没有灾祸)

0777 From the Hexagram Tongren to the Hexagram Xiaoxu [Carrying stones up the mountain, staggering and unable to move forward.] Interpreting the symbolic statement of the fourth yang position of the Hexagram Tongren, "Climbing onto the city wall, it is impossible to conquer it according to morality. The reason for its auspiciousness is that when in trouble, one returns to the right principle." [The sorrow with furrowed brows, not getting what one likes.] Pin is the same as "Pin". Interpreting the third yang position of the Hexagram Bi, "Becoming close to the unworthy person." [Missing for a long time, sighing with sorrow.] For the fourth yang position of the Hexagram Xiaoxu, "There is sincerity, getting rid of the disaster of bloodshed and fear, no blame."

 

0778同人之履[周德既成, 行軸不傾]釋同人彖”文明人以健, 中正而應, 君子報仇正也. 唯君子為能通天下之志.”[申酉昳暮, 耄老衰去]申酉, 15點至19點. 昳, 夕陽. 䆁雜卦”小畜, 寡也.” [箴石不𧙗]箴, 治病用的石針. 釋履上九"視履考祥, 其旋元吉." [集注]1000豫之解.

0778 同人之履 [周朝的德政已经成就,行事的准则不会倾斜]解释同人卦的彖辞 “文明以健,中正而应,君子正也。唯君子为能通天下之志。” (这里重复的彖辞含义同前)[申时和酉时,夕阳西下,人到了衰老的暮年]申酉,指 15 点至 19 点。昳,指夕阳。䆁《杂卦》中 “小畜,寡也。” (小畜卦,有寡少的意思)[石针也无法治疗(衰老之疾)]箴,是治病用的石针。解释履卦上九爻 “视履考祥,其旋元吉。” (意思是回顾自己走过的道路,考察吉凶祸福,转身返回就能获得大吉)[集注]1000 豫之解。
