0642泰之坤[濟深難渡, 濡我衣袴]釋序卦"履而泰, 然後安, 故受之以泰. 泰者, 通也." 陳喬樅齊詩遺説”易林言濟深難渡, 濡我衣袴, 即所謂以衣涉水也.” [五子善櫂]應為君子善擢. 擢本義為抽引, 拉拔. 詩經邶風匏有苦葉”深則厲, 淺則揭.” 擢似應為揭, 言渡深水時不脫衣服而過, 渡淺水時則撩起衣服而過. 比喻君子行動因時制宜, 見機行事. 又所謂五子, 王子義皆不通, 似應改為君子. 釋乾象"天行健, 君子以自強不息." 道藏本, 汲古本作擢. [脫無他故]釋說卦"坤, 順也."[集注]4012既濟之姤.

0642 泰之坤:[河水很深难以渡过,浸湿了我的衣裤] 解释《序卦》中 “践行之后达到通畅,然后就安宁,所以接着是泰卦。泰,就是通畅的意思。” 陈乔枞的《齐诗遗说》中说 “《易林》说河水深难以渡过,浸湿了我的衣裤,就是所说的穿着衣服涉水。” [应为 “君子善擢”。擢的本义是抽引、拉拔。《诗经・邶风・匏有苦叶》中说 “水深就和衣过河,水浅就撩起衣服过河。” 擢似乎应该是 “揭”,意思是渡深水时不脱衣服而过,渡浅水时则撩起衣服而过。比喻君子行动根据时机采取合适的方式,见机行事。另外所说的 “五子”,“王子义” 都不通顺,似乎应该改为 “君子”。 解释《乾》卦的象辞 “天的运行刚健有力,君子因此要自强不息。” 道藏本、汲古本作 “擢”。] [幸好没有其他变故] 解释《说卦》中 “坤,就是柔顺的意思。” [集注]:4012 既济之姤。

[The river is very deep and difficult to cross, soaking my clothes and trousers.] Explain in the "Xugua": "After practicing, it reaches smoothness, and then there is peace. So the 'Tai' hexagram follows. Tai means smoothness." Chen Qiaocong's "Qi Shi Yi Shuo" says: "The 'Yilin' says that the river is deep and difficult to cross, soaking my clothes and trousers, which is what is called wading in the water with clothes on." [It should be "Junzi shan zhuo". The original meaning of zhuo is to draw out and pull. In "The Book of Songs · Bei Feng · Pao You Ku Ye", it is said, "When the water is deep, cross with clothes on; when the water is shallow, lift up the clothes and cross." Zhuo seems to be "jie", which means crossing the deep water without taking off the clothes and crossing the shallow water by lifting up the clothes. It is a metaphor that a gentleman acts in an appropriate way according to the opportunity and acts according to the situation. In addition, the so-called "wu zi", "wang zi yi" are both not smooth and seem to be changed to "junzi". Explain the image of the "Qian" hexagram: "The movement of heaven is vigorous and powerful, and gentlemen, therefore, should strive constantly for self-perfection." The Daode Zang Ben and the Jigu Ben use "zhuo".] [Fortunately, there are no other changes.] Explain in the "Shuogua": "Kun means the meaning of gentleness and obedience." The flatfish is often used to metaphorize loving couples because its two eyes are side by side on one side of the head. 0644 泰之蒙:[葛藤缠绕着荆棘,花朵不能结出果实] 解释《泰》卦上六爻辞 “城墙倒塌在护城壕里,不要有所作为。从自己的城邑发布命令,有困难。” [奸佞小人把持朝政] 解释《屯》卦上六爻的象辞 “哭泣出血,泪流不断,这种情况怎么能长久呢?” [使恩情被阻塞] 解释《蒙》卦六四爻辞 “受困于蒙昧,有困难。”

[The kudzu vines twine around the thorns, and the flowers cannot bear fruits.] Explain the sixth line of the upper in the "Tai" hexagram: "The city wall collapses into the moat, and don't take any action. Issuing an order from one's own city, there are difficulties." [Crafty and treacherous villains hold the power of the government.] Explain the image of the sixth line of the upper in the "Tun" hexagram: "Crying until bleeding and the tears flowing continuously, how can this situation last long?" [Blocking the kindness.] Explain the fourth line of the six in the "Meng" hexagram: "Being trapped in ignorance, there are difficulties."

 

0645泰之需[四足無角, 君子所服]四足應為四牡, 四匹公馬. 無角應指蛟龍, 蛟, 龍屬, 無角. 蛟龍比喻強者. 服, 降服. 釋序卦"泰者, 通也."[南征述職]釋蒙象"山下出泉, 蒙. 君子以果行育德." 四部注”征者, 上伐下也. 諸侯朝王曰述職.”[與福相得]釋需九五"需于酒食, 貞吉."

0645 泰之需:[四匹公马没有角,被君子所降服] “四足” 应为 “四牡”,即四匹公马。“无角” 应指蛟龙,蛟属于龙类,没有角。蛟龙比喻强者。“服”,是降服的意思。 解释《序卦》中 “泰,就是通畅的意思。” [向南出征去述职] 解释《蒙》卦的象辞 “山下流出泉水,这就是蒙卦。君子因此要果断行动来培育品德。” 四部注释 “征,是上级讨伐下级。诸侯朝见天子叫做述职。” [得到了福气] 解释《需》卦九五爻辞 “在酒食中等待,守持正固吉祥。”

[Four male horses have no horns and are subdued by the gentleman.] "Si zu" should be "si mu", that is, four male horses. "Wu jiao" should refer to the flood dragon. Jiao belongs to the dragon category and has no horns. The flood dragon is a metaphor for the strong. "Fu" means to subdue. Explain in the "Xugua": "Tai means smoothness." 0646 泰之讼:[脚踝和脚跟受伤,左手手指生了痈疮] 解释《泰》卦上六爻的象辞 “城墙倒塌在护城壕里,政令就混乱了。” [失去了行旅的时机,落在了后面] 解释《杂卦》中 “需,就是不前进的意思。” [有利于跑走而不回来] 解释《讼》卦初六爻辞 “不长久纠缠于诉讼之事,稍有言语纷争,最终吉祥。” [集注]:0202 蒙之履,2994 困之鼎。

0648 泰之比:[盼望骏马不来,因受困受阻而忧愁] 解释《泰》卦上六爻的象辞 “城墙倒塌在护城壕里,政令就混乱了。” [雨水使我的心感到惊恐] 解释《杂卦》中 “师,就是忧愁的意思。” [风吹动我的肌肤] 解释《比》卦六三爻辞 “亲近了不应当亲近的人。”

[Looking forward to the fine horse but it doesn't come, being worried because of being trapped and obstructed.] Explain the image of the sixth line of the upper in the "Tai" hexagram: "The city wall collapses into the moat, and the government orders are in chaos." [The rain makes my heart feel frightened.] Explain in the "Zagua": "Shi means the meaning of worry." [The wind blows my skin.] Explain the third line of the six in the "Bi" hexagram: "Getting close to the people who should not be gotten close to."

 

0649泰之小畜[久客無牀, 思歸我鄉]䆁泰六四"翩翩, 不富以其鄰, 不戒以孚." 言不與其鄰爭求富貫而保誠信. [雷雨滿盈]釋比卦辭"不寧方來."[道不得通]釋小畜上九"既雨既處, 尚德載. 婦貞厲, 月幾望, 君子征凶." 言君子當積德載物, 不可輕率行動. [集注]0185屯之巽.

0649 泰之小畜:[长久在外做客没有床铺,思念回到故乡] 解释《泰》卦六四爻辞 “往来轻快,不与邻居一同富有,不用告诫就能保持诚信。” 意思是不与邻居争夺财富而保持诚信。 [雷雨充满天空] 解释《比》卦的卦辞 “不安宁的方国来归附。” [道路不能通行] 解释《小畜》卦上九爻辞 “已经降雨,已经停止,崇尚道德以承载。妇人守持正固会有危险,月亮接近满月时,君子出征有凶险。” 意思是君子应当积累德行、承载万物,不可轻率行动。 [集注]:0185 屯之巽。

[Being a guest away from home for a long time without a bed, longing to return to the hometown.] Explain the fourth line of the six in the "Tai" hexagram: "Coming and going lightly, not being rich together with the neighbors, being able to maintain trustworthiness without admonition." It means not competing with the neighbors for wealth and maintaining trustworthiness. [Thunderstorms fill the sky.] Explain the hexagram statement of the "Bi" hexagram: "The restless states come to submit." [The road cannot be passed through.] Explain the ninth line of the upper in the "Xiaoxu" hexagram: "It has rained and stopped, advocating morality to bear. For a woman, adhering to the right path will be dangerous. When the moon is close to being full, for a gentleman, going on an expedition is ominous." It means that a gentleman should accumulate virtues and bear all things and not act rashly. [Collected Annotations]: 0185 Tun to Xun.

 

0650泰之履[方船備水, 傍河燃火]方船, 併船. 備水, 防備水患.. 釋泰初九象"拔茅征吉, 志在外也." 尚注”方, 並也. 詩方舟為梁是也. 以船為梁, 故曰備水.” [積善有徴]釋小畜初九象"復自道, 其義吉也."[終身無禍]釋履上九"視履考祥, 其旋元吉."[集注]0847大有之謙, 3387睽之臨.

0650 泰之履:[把船并在一起防备水患,在河边燃起大火] “方船” 即并船,“备水” 就是防备水患。解释《泰》卦初九爻的象辞 “拔掉茅草出征吉祥,是因为志向在外面。” 尚氏注释:“方,是并的意思。就像《诗经》中‘方舟为梁’所说的那样。把船当作桥梁,所以叫备水。” [积累善行有了应验] 解释《小畜》卦初九爻的象辞 “返回自己的道路,从道理上来说是吉祥的。” [终身没有灾祸] 解释《履》卦上九爻 “回顾自己走过的路,考察吉凶的征兆,能够转身返回初始状态,就会非常吉祥。” [集注]:0847 大有之谦,3387 睽之临。

[Joining the boats together to prevent floods, and lighting a big fire by the riverbank.] "Fang chuan" means joining the boats, and "bei shui" means preventing flood disasters. Shang's annotation: "Fang means joining. Just like what is said in 'The Book of Songs' 'Fang zhou wei liang'. Using the boats as a bridge, so it is called bei shui." 0651泰之泰[求玉陳國, 留連東域...主君有德, 蒙恩受福]釋序卦”泰者, 通也.” 尚注”左傳有韓宣子求玉於鄭事, 茲云陳國, 未詳.” 事見左傳昭公16年. 史記貨殖列傳”陳在楚夏之交, 通魚鹽之貨, 其民多賈.” 陳國地區處中原, 為交通樞紐, 陳人擅長經商, 故求玉陳國. 漢書地理志下”陳國, 今淮陽之地…婦人尊貴, 好祭祀, 用史巫, 故其俗巫鬼.” 詩陳風宛丘即在描述史巫優美舞姿, 故本詩留連東域即在抒發此位原本求玉之王孫, 一見史巫優美舞姿而生傾心之情. [須我王孫, 四月來復]䆁履上九"視履考祥, 其旋元吉.“ 此位王孫返國四月後, 得到主君的批准, 再度來到陳國的國國都宛丘, 與這位舞者相會, 有情人終成眷屬.

0651 泰之泰:[到陈国去求购玉石,在东方的地域流连忘返…… 君主有德行,蒙受恩泽享受福气] 解释《序卦》中 “泰,就是通畅的意思。” 尚氏注释:“《左传》中有韩宣子到郑国求购玉石的事,这里说陈国,不太清楚。” 这件事见于《左传・昭公十六年》。《史记・货殖列传》记载 “陈国在楚国和华夏之地的交界处,流通鱼和盐等货物,那里的百姓大多经商。” 陈国地区处于中原,是交通枢纽,陈国人擅长经商,所以到陈国求购玉石。《汉书・地理志下》记载 “陈国,就是现在的淮阳之地…… 那里的妇人地位尊贵,喜好祭祀,任用史官和巫师,所以当地的风俗是敬奉巫鬼。” 《诗经・陈风・宛丘》就在描述史官和巫师优美的舞姿,所以本诗中 “留连东域” 就是在抒发这位原本去求购玉石的王孙,一见到史官和巫师优美的舞姿就心生爱慕之情。 [等待我,王孙,四个月后回来] 解释《履》卦上九爻 “回顾自己走过的路,考察吉凶的征兆,能够转身返回初始状态,就会非常吉祥。” 这位王孙回到本国四个月后,得到君主的批准,再次来到陈国的国都宛丘,与这位舞者相会,有情人终成眷属。

[Going to the State of Chen to purchase jade, lingering in the eastern region... The monarch has virtue and receives grace and enjoys good fortune.] Explain in the "Xugua": "Tai means smoothness." Shang's annotation: "In 'Zuo Zhuan', there is the matter of Han Xuanzi going to the State of Zheng to purchase jade. Here it mentions the State of Chen, which is not very clear." This matter is recorded in "Zuo Zhuan · Duke Zhao's Sixteenth Year". Recorded in "Historical Records · Biographies of Merchants and Traders": "The State of Chen is at the junction of the State of Chu and the Huaxia region, and goods such as fish and salt are circulated. Most of the people there are engaged in business." The region of the State of Chen is in the Central Plains and is a transportation hub. The people of Chen are good at doing business, so they go to the State of Chen to purchase jade. Recorded in "Han Shu · Geography Zhi Xia": "The State of Chen is the current Huaiyang region... The women there have a noble status, like sacrifices, and appoint historians and wizards. So the local custom is to worship witches and ghosts." "The Book of Songs · Chen Feng · Wanqiu" is describing the beautiful dancing postures of historians and wizards. So in this poem, "lingering in the eastern region" is expressing that this noble son who originally went to purchase jade fell in love at first sight with the beautiful dancing postures of historians and wizards. [Wait for me, noble son, come back in four months.] Explain the ninth line of the upper in the "Lv" hexagram: "Looking back on the path one has walked, examining the omens of good and bad fortune, being able to turn back to the initial state will be very auspicious." Four months after this noble son returned to his own country, with the approval of the monarch, he came to Wanqiu, the capital of the State of Chen again, met this dancer, and the lovers finally got married.

 

0652泰之否[陟岵望母, 役事未已, 王政靡盬]釋泰上六象"城復于隍 , 其命亂矣." 岵, 有草木之山. 靡盬, 無止息. 詩110齊風陟山古”陟彼屺兮, 瞻望母兮.” 詩序”孝子行役, 思念父母也. 國破而數侵削, 役于大國, 父母兄弟離散, 而作是詩也.”[不得相保]釋否卦名, 閉阻."[集注]2728夬之解, 3183鼎之困.

0652 泰之否:[登上有草木的山岗遥望母亲,服役的事情还没有结束,国家的政令没有止息] 解释《泰》卦上六爻的象辞 “城墙倒塌在护城壕里,政令就混乱了。” “岵”,是有草木的山。“靡盬”,是没有止息。《诗经・齐风・陟岵》中说 “登上那座有草木的山岗啊,遥望我的母亲啊。” 《诗序》说 “孝子在外服役,思念父母。国家破败而且多次被侵略削减,在大国服役,父母兄弟离散,所以作了这首诗。” [不能相互保全] 解释《否》卦的卦名,意思是闭阻。 [集注]:2728 夬之解,3183 鼎之困。

[Climbing the hill with grass and trees to look at my mother from afar, the service work has not ended, and the national decrees have no end.] Explain the image of the sixth line of the upper in the "Tai" hexagram: "The city wall collapses into the moat, and the government orders are in chaos." "Hu" is a hill with grass and trees. "Mi gu" means there is no end. In "The Book of Songs · Qi Feng · Zhi Hu", it is said, "Climbing that hill with grass and trees, looking at my mother from afar." The "Shi Xu" says: "The filial son is serving outside and missing his parents. The country is in ruins and has been invaded and reduced many times. Serving in a big country, the parents and brothers are separated, so this poem was written." [Unable to protect each other.] Explain the name of the "Pi" hexagram, which means being blocked. 0653泰之同人[多載重負, 捐棄於野]釋泰上六象"城復于隍, 其命亂矣."[予母誰子]釋否卦辭"否之匪人."[但自勞苦]䆁同人六二”同人于宗, 吝."[集注]0160屯之恆, 0428師之姤, 2584損之復.

0653 泰之同人:[装载了很多重物,却把它们丢弃在荒野] 解释《泰》卦上六爻的象辞 “城墙倒塌在护城壕里,政令就混乱了。” [我母亲的儿子是谁呢] 解释《否》卦的卦辞 “否卦不利于与人交往。” [只是自己白白地劳苦] 解释《同人》卦六二爻 “只在宗族内和同于人,有困难。” [集注]:0160 屯之恒,0428 师之姤,2584 损之复。

[Who is my mother's son?] Explain the hexagram statement of the "Pi" hexagram: "The 'Pi' hexagram is not favorable for interacting with people." [Just toiling in vain by oneself.] Explain the second line of the six in the "Tongren" hexagram: "Being in harmony with people only within the clan, there are difficulties." This poem is from "Zuo Zhuan · Duke Ding's Third Year" (507 BC): "Marquis Zhao of Cai made two jade pendants and two leather clothes and went to the State of Chu. He presented one jade pendant and one leather coat to King Zhao of Chu. King Zhao of Chu put it on and held a banquet to entertain Marquis Cai. Marquis Cai also put on one of them. 0692 泰之艮:[无端发怒而失去事理,阳气孤单没有辅助] 解释《泰》卦上六爻的象辞 “城墙倒塌在护城壕里,政令就混乱了。” [万物因病害而焦枯] 解释《震》卦的象辞 “接连不断的雷声,这就是震卦。君子因此恐惧而修身反省。” 震卦三至五爻互成坎卦。《说卦》中说 “坎为隐伏…… 增加忧患…… 是心病的象征。” 所以表示万物有病害。震卦一至四爻互成大离卦,《说卦》中说 “离为火,为上部枯槁的植物。” 草木中间空了必然会枯槁。所以说是焦枯。焦氏《易林注》说 “坎为病害,艮为火,所以万物因病害而焦枯。” 焦氏《易诂》第 75 页说 “艮卦三爻至上爻,都是大离卦,也都说是枯。” 尚氏对这两者的取象注释都有误。 [黍子收成不好,遭遇饥荒] 解释《艮》卦九三爻 “抑止腰部,脊肉裂开,危险使人心急如焚。” 意思是抑止不恰当,导致众叛亲离而陷入危殆。

The first to fourth lines of the Zhen hexagram form the Great Li hexagram mutually. In the "Shuogua", it is said: "Li is for fire and for plants that are withered on the upper part." If the middle of the grass and trees is empty, they will inevitably wither. So it is said to be parched and withered. Jiao's "Yilin Zhu" says: "Kan is for diseases, and Gen is for fire, so all things are parched and withered due to diseases." On page 75 of Jiao's "Yigu", it is said: "From the third line to the upper line of the Gen hexagram, they are all the Great Li hexagram, and it is also said to be withered." Shang's annotations on the interpretation of the images of these two are both incorrect. [There is a poor harvest of millet and a famine is encountered.] Explain the third line of the nine in the "Gen" hexagram: "Restraining the waist, the muscles on the back split, and the danger makes one's heart extremely anxious." It means that the restraint is inappropriate, leading to being deserted by the masses and being in a dangerous situation.

It means running towards the magical opportunity, and the regret will disappear. If the middle of the grass and trees is empty, they are easy to wither when encountering fire. So "making itself withered" takes the image of the Great Li hexagram formed mutually by the second to fifth lines of the Huan hexagram. On page 75 of Jiao's "Yigu", it is said: "From the second line to the fifth line of the 'Jie' hexagram are all the Great Li hexagram, and it is also said to be 'withered'." Shang's annotation on the interpretation of the image is incorrect. [Worry and regret bring disasters, and it is already too late.] Explain the third line of the six in the "Jie" hexagram: "If there is no restraint, one will sigh, and there is no fault." 0704泰之未濟[實沈參墟, 以義討尤]指晉文公伐曹成為春秋五霸之一. 釋序卦”履而泰然後安, 故受之以泰. 泰者, 通也.” 國語晉語"歲在大梁, 將集天行, 元年始受實沈之星也. 實沈之墟, 晉人是居, 所以興也." 尚注”左傳昭元年:遷實沈於大夏, 主參. 故參為晉星. 文意似指晉文伐楚事.” 晉文公五年/公元前632年. 晉國伐曹侵宋, 許曹, 衛復國而絕交楚國, 拉開了晉楚爭霸城濮之戰的序幕. 楚國失敗, 曹, 衛復國, 聽命於晉國, 晉文公成為霸主. [次止結盟]次止, 駐止, 止宿. 止為首止, 位於今河南省睢縣東南. 釋雜卦"既濟, 定也." 齊桓公為避免周朝內亂, 與七國諸侯於公元前655年在首止相會, 並要求太子鄭參加, 以此鞏太子鄭的地位. 儀式完畢, 太子鄭拱手相謝, 説道”諸君不忘周室, 我也決不敢忘記諸君的恩德.” 會後齊桓公親自將太子鄭送出衛境, 太子垂淚而別. 公元前652年, 太子鄭繼位, 是為周襄王.”[以成霸功]䆁未濟六五"貞吉, 無悔. 君子之光, 有孚, 吉." 尚注”止, 首止, 僖五年齊侯會諸侯于首止.”[集注]2769姤之隨.

In the fifth year of Duke Wen of Jin (632 BC), the State of Jin attacked the State of Cao and invaded the State of Song, allowed the State of Cao and the State of Wei to restore their countries and break off diplomatic relations with the State of Chu, and opened the prelude to the Chengpu Battle in the struggle for hegemony between Jin and Chu. The State of Chu was defeated. After the restoration of the State of Cao and the State of Wei, they obeyed the State of Jin, and Duke Wen of Jin became the overlord. [The army is stationed and allies are formed.] "Ci zhi" means stationing, staying, and lodging. "Zhi" refers to Shouzhi, which is located in the southeast of the current Sui County, Henan Province. Explain in the "Zagua": "Jiji means the meaning of stability." In order to avoid internal turmoil in the Zhou Dynasty, Duke Huan of Qi met with the lords of seven vassal states in Shouzhi in 655 BC and required Prince Zheng to participate, thereby consolidating Prince Zheng's status.
