1153臨之乾[黃獹生子, 以戌為母]言黃色良犬生下犬子, 竟認一般的狗為母. 釋臨六三"甘臨, 無攸利. 既憂之, 無咎." 言甘心來臨, 沒有好處. 既然憂慮, 也無禍害.[晉師在郊]言晉國的軍隊已在郊野. 釋未濟象"火在水上, 未濟. 君子以慎辨物居方." [虞公出走]言虞公中計亡國出走. 釋乾上九"亢龍有悔." 四部注"魯僖公二年, 晉荀息請以屈產之乘, 垂棘之璧, 假道於虞, 以伐虢, 而虞公貪璧馬之獻, 不聽宮之奇忠諫之言, 遂為晉所滅." 尚注"初學記引字林曰, 獹, 韓良犬也. 戰國策作韓廬. 戌為犬屬, 故曰以戌為母."
1153 临卦变为乾卦 [黄色的良犬生下小狗,把普通的狗当作母亲] 意思是黄色的优良猎犬生下了狗崽,竟然认一只普通的狗为母亲。用来解释临卦六三爻辞 “以甜言蜜语治理百姓,没有什么好处。既然已经对此感到忧虑,就没有灾祸”。意思是心甘情愿地来治理(却方法不当),没有益处。既然已经有了忧虑,也就没有祸害了。 [晋国的军队已经在郊外] 意思是晋国的军队已经到达了郊野。用来解释未济卦的象辞 “火在水的上面,是未济卦。君子因此要谨慎地分辨事物并使它们各居其位”。 [虞公出逃] 意思是虞公中了计谋导致国家灭亡后出逃。用来解释乾卦上九爻辞 “亢奋的龙(居高位而不知收敛)会有悔恨”。四部注释 “鲁僖公二年,晋国的荀息请求用屈地所产的良马、垂棘所产的玉璧,向虞国借道去讨伐虢国,而虞公贪图(晋国)献上的玉璧和良马,不听从宫之奇忠诚的劝谏,于是虞国就被晋国灭掉了”。尚氏注释 “《初学记》引用《字林》的话说,獹,是韩国的优良猎犬。《战国策》写作‘韩庐’。戌属于犬类,所以说‘以戌为母’” 。

It means that the yellow excellent hunting dog has given birth to dog cubs and actually regards an ordinary dog as their mother. It is used to interpret the third line of the lower trigram of Hexagram Lin: "Govern the people with sweet words, there is no benefit. Since one has already felt worried about this, there will be no disaster." It means that coming to govern willingly (but with improper methods) has no advantage. Since there is already worry, there will be no harm. [The army of the State of Jin is already in the suburbs]. It means that the army of the State of Jin has reached the countryside. It is used to interpret the Image statement of Hexagram Weiji: "Fire is above water, which is Hexagram Weiji. The gentleman should thus carefully distinguish things and make them stay in their respective positions." [Duke Yu flees]. It means that Duke Yu of the State of Yu fell into a scheme, resulting in the destruction of his state and then fled. It is used to interpret the top ninth line of Hexagram Qian: "The over 亢奋的 dragon (staying in a high position without knowing how to restrain) will have regret." Four Books Annotation: "In the second year of Duke Xi of Lu, Xun Xi of the State of Jin requested to use the fine horses produced in Qu and the jade bi produced in Chuiji to borrow a path from the State of Yu to attack the State of Guo. And Duke Yu of the State of Yu coveted the jade bi and fine horses presented by the State of Jin and did not listen to the loyal admonition of Gong Zhiqi. So the State of Yu was destroyed by the State of Jin." Shang's annotation: "The Chuxueji quotes the Zilin saying that Lu is a fine hound of the State of Han. In the Stratagems of the Warring States, it is written as 'Han Lu'. Xu belongs to the category of dogs, so it is said 'regard Xu as the mother'."
1154臨之坤[倉唐奉使, 中山以孝]言倉唐奉命出使覲見魏文侯, 稱讚中山王擊子的孝順. 釋咸九二"咸臨, 吉, 無不利." 言倉唐具中庸之德, 與魏文侯相應, 故吉無不利. [文侯悅嘉]釋乾九五"飛龍在天, 利見大人." [撃子徵召]言徵召擊子為太子. 䆁坤六五"黃裳, 元吉." [集注]1015豫之豐.
1154 临卦变为坤卦 [仓唐奉命出使,(称)中山王击之子很孝顺] 意思是仓唐奉命出使去觐见魏文侯,称赞中山王击的儿子很孝顺。用来解释咸卦九二爻辞 “以感应临民,吉利,没有什么不利的”。意思是仓唐具备中庸的品德,与魏文侯相互应和,所以吉利没有不利之处。 [魏文侯喜悦称好] 用来解释乾卦九五爻辞 “飞龙在天,有利于见到大人(有大德之人)”。 [征召击子为太子] 意思是征召击子成为太子。用来解释坤卦六五爻辞 “黄色的下裳,大为吉祥”。 [集合注释]1015 条是豫卦变为丰卦。
英文:1154 Hexagram Lin changes into Hexagram Kun. [Cang Tang was dispatched on a mission, (saying that) the son of King Ji of Zhongshan was very filial]. It means that Cang Tang was dispatched on a mission to pay homage to Marquis Wen of Wei and praised that the son of King Ji of Zhongshan was very filial. It is used to interpret the second line of the lower trigram of Hexagram Xian: "Govern the people with 感应,it is auspicious, and there is nothing unfavorable." It means that Cang Tang has the virtue of the mean and corresponds with Marquis Wen of Wei, so it is auspicious and there are no unfavorable aspects. [Marquis Wen of Wei was delighted and praised]. It is used to interpret the fifth line of Hexagram Qian: "The flying dragon is in the sky, and it is beneficial to meet a great man (a person with great virtue)." [Summon Ji Zi to be the crown prince]. It means to summon Ji Zi to become the crown prince. 1155臨之屯[機關不便, 不能出言]言口才不行, 不能出言申辯. 釋臨卦辭"至于八月有凶."[精誠不通]言自己的真誠不能感動對方. 釋坤初六"履霜, 堅冰至." 需防微杜漸.[為人所冤] 言被人所冤枉. 釋屯上六"泣血漣如." 只能傷心而不停地流下血淚.[集注]0516小畜之蒙, 4063未濟之咸.
1155 临卦变为屯卦 [口才不好,不能说话] 意思是口才不行,没办法出言辩解。用来解释临卦的卦辞 “到了八月会有凶险”。 [真诚的心意无法传达] 意思是自己的真诚不能感动对方。用来解释坤卦初六爻辞 “脚踏上霜,坚冰就要来了”。需要防微杜渐。 [被人冤枉] 意思是被别人冤枉。用来解释屯卦上六爻辞 “哭泣出血,泪流不断”。只能伤心地不停地流下血泪。 [集合注释]0516 条是小畜卦变为蒙卦,4063 条是未济卦变为咸卦。

It means that one's own sincerity cannot move the other party. It is used to interpret the first line of the lower trigram of Hexagram Kun: "Step on the frost, and the solid ice is coming." One needs to prevent problems from the very beginning. [Be wronged by others]. It means to be wronged by others. It is used to interpret the top sixth line of Hexagram Tun: "Weep until bleeding, and the tears keep flowing." One can only be sad and keep shedding blood and tears. 1156 临卦变为蒙卦 [用白茅草包裹着甜酒,灵验的巫师跪拜祈祷] 意思是把白茅草束起来放在祭祀的前面,把酒洒在上面,酒渗下去,好像神灵在饮用,巫师进行祭拜。用来解释临卦九二爻辞 “以感应临民,吉利,没有什么不利的”。 [神灵喜好这些饮食] 用来解释屯卦九五爻辞 “积聚膏泽(财富等),对于小事,坚守正道吉利;对于大事,坚守正道有凶险”。 [让君主长寿安康] 用来解释蒙卦九二爻辞 “包容蒙昧,吉利。娶妇,吉利。儿子能主持家政”。本诗第三、四句出自《诗经》第 209 篇《小雅・楚茨》。四部注释 “《尚书》说:用匣子包裹着菁茅,荆楚之地有三脊茅,是用来供给祭祀时滤酒用的”。 [集合注释]3679 条是兑卦变为咸卦。

For small matters, it is auspicious to adhere to the right path; for big matters, there is danger when adhering to the right path." [Let the monarch live a long and healthy life]. It is used to interpret the second line of the lower trigram of Hexagram Meng: "Contain ignorance, it is auspicious. Marry a woman, it is auspicious. The son can take charge of the family affairs." The third and fourth sentences of this poem are from the 209th poem "Xiaoya・Chu Ci" in the Book of Songs. Four Books Annotation: "The Book of Documents says: Wrap the Jingmao grass in a box. 1158 临卦变为讼卦 [水涨起来却没有船,攻破城池毁坏堤坝] 用来解释临卦的彖辞 “到了八月会有凶险,阳气消减不能长久”。 [大夫去服役] 用来解释需卦九三爻辞 “在泥沼中等待,导致敌寇到来”。 [一个早晨就死亡了,见不到年轻的妻子了] 用来解释讼卦九四爻的象辞 “回归就听从命令,改变(态度),安守正道就不会有所失”。
英文:1158 Hexagram Lin changes into Hexagram Song. [The water rises but there is no boat, break through the city and destroy the dam]. It is used to interpret the Tuan statement of Hexagram Lin: "There will be danger in the eighth month, and the yang qi will decrease and cannot last long." [The doctor goes to serve]. It is used to interpret the third line of Hexagram Xu: "Wait in the swamp, and it will lead to the arrival of the enemy." [Die in one morning and will not see the young wife anymore]. It is used to interpret the Image statement of the fourth line of the upper trigram of Hexagram Song: "Return and obey the order, change (the attitude), and if one adheres to the right path, there will be no loss."
1159臨之師[二人俱行, 各遺其囊]釋臨彖”至于八月有兇, 消不久也.” [鴻鵠失珠]釋訟九四象"復即命, 渝, 安貞不失也." [無以為明]釋雜卦“師, 憂." [集注]翟云"鵠, 當作鶴. 或云鶴, 古通用鵠, 未確也. 唐類函引玉符瑞圖, 晉平公鼓琴, 有玄鶴二雙, 自天而下, 銜明珠於庭, 一鶴失珠."

Governing the world in this way, the people will obey. It is auspicious, so what disaster is there?" [There is no disaster for oneself]. It is used to interpret the Tuan statement of Hexagram Bi: "Hexagram Bi is auspicious." 1161臨之小畜[蔡女蕩舟, 為國患憂]釋臨彖"至于八月有凶, 消不久也." [褒后在側, 屏蔽王目]䆁比六三象"比之匪人, 不亦傷乎?“ [搔擾六國]釋小畜九三“輿説輻, 夫妻反目." 尚注"左傳僖二年:齊侯與蔡姬乘舟于囿, 蕩公, 公懼變色, 怒歸之, 未絕之也, 蔡人嫁也. 明年侵蔡.“
1161 临卦变为小畜卦 [蔡国女子使船摇晃,给国家带来忧患],用来解释临卦的彖辞 “到了八月会有凶险,阳气消减不能长久”。 [褒姒在幽王身边,蒙蔽了幽王的视线],用来解释比卦六三爻的象辞 “与行为不端的人亲附,不也是很可悲的吗?” [侵扰六国],用来解释小畜卦九三爻辞 “车子的辐条脱落,夫妻反目成仇”。尚氏注释 “《左传》僖公二年记载:齐桓公和蔡姬在园林里乘船,蔡姬摇晃船只,齐桓公害怕得变了脸色,生气地把她送回蔡国,但并没有断绝关系,蔡国人却把她改嫁了。第二年齐桓公就进攻蔡国”。

Shang's annotation: "According to the Zuo Zhuan, in the second year of Duke Xi: Duke Huan of Qi and Lady Cai were boating in the garden. Lady Cai rocked the boat. Duke Huan of Qi turned pale with fear and angrily sent her back to the State of Cai, but did not break off the relationship. However, the people of the State of Cai married her off again. 1162臨之履[駕龍騎虎, 周遍天下]釋臨六四“至臨, 無咎.“ [為神人使, 西見王母]釋小畜九五“有孚攣如, 富以其鄰." [不憂危殆]釋履九二“履道坦坦, 幽人貞吉." 丁云”穆天子傳:觴西王母於瑤池之上:比徂西土, 爰居其野, 虎豹方為羣. 乃生捕虎而獻之, 天子命之為柙而畜之東虞, 是為虎牢. 癸亥, 天子乘鳥舟龍卒浮於大沼. 郭注:舟皆以龍鳥為形制. 駕龍騎虎. 蓋謂此也.”
1162 临卦变为履卦 [驾驭着龙骑着虎,游遍天下],用来解释临卦六四爻辞 “亲自下临(百姓),没有过错”。 [作为神灵和仙人的使者,向西面去拜见西王母],用来解释小畜卦九五爻辞 “心怀诚信,牵系团结,以财富与其邻居共享”。 [不担忧危险和困境],用来解释履卦九二爻辞 “行走在平坦的道路上,隐士坚守正道吉利”。丁氏说 “《穆天子传》记载:在瑶池之上宴请西王母:‘我往西方去,居住在旷野,虎豹正成群。’于是活捉老虎并献给(西王母),天子命令把老虎关在木笼里养在东边的园林,这就是虎牢。癸亥日,天子乘坐着像鸟和龙形状的船在大湖中游荡。郭璞注释:船都是以龙和鸟为形制打造的。‘驾龙骑虎’大概说的就是这件事”。

[Do not worry about danger and difficulties], which is used to interpret the second line of Hexagram Lü: "Walk on a smooth path, and it is auspicious for the hermit to adhere to the right path." Mr. Ding said: "The Biography of King Mu of Zhou records: Feast the Queen Mother of the West on the Yaochi: 'I go to the west, live in the wilderness, and tigers and leopards are in groups.' Then capture a tiger alive and offer it (to the Queen Mother of the West). The king orders to put the tiger in a wooden cage and raise it in the eastern garden, and this is Hulaoling. On the day of Guihai, the king rides on boats shaped like birds and dragons and wanders in the large lake. Guo Pu's annotation: The boats are all made in the shape of dragons and birds. 'Ride on a dragon and a tiger' probably refers to this matter."
1163臨之泰[員怨之吳, 畫策闔閭]䆁臨九二"咸臨, 吉, 無不利." [鞭平服荊, 除大咎殃]䆁履九五"夬履, 貞吉." [威振敵國, 還受上卿]䆁泰象"天地交, 泰. 后以財成天地之道, 輔相天地之宜, 以左右民." 尚注"伍子胥名員, 平王既消其父兄, 員犇吳, 佐吳王闔閭伐楚, 鞭平王之尸."
1163 临卦变为泰卦 [伍子胥怨恨楚国,为吴王阖闾出谋划策],用来解释临卦九二爻辞 “以感应临民,吉利,没有什么不利的”。 [鞭打楚平王的尸体,征服了楚国,消除了大的灾祸],用来解释履卦九五爻辞 “刚断果决地履行职责,坚守正道吉利”。 [声威震动敌国,回来后被封为上卿],用来解释泰卦的象辞 “天地相交,是泰卦。君主因此要根据天地运行的规律来制定政令,辅助天地化生之宜,来引导百姓”。尚氏注释 “伍子胥名叫伍员,楚平王杀了他的父亲和兄长后,伍员逃到吴国,辅佐吴王阖闾讨伐楚国,还鞭打了楚平王的尸体”。

The second line of the lower trigram of Hexagram Feng has many praises. When the fifth line of the upper trigram of Hexagram Feng moves and gets the correct position, it will respond to the second line of the lower trigram of Hexagram Feng, so it says 'Lai Zhang, You Qing Yu, Ji'." Li's Explanation: "When the fifth line of the upper trigram of Hexagram Feng changes, the hexagram body forms Hexagram Qian. The yang qi of Hexagram Qian symbolizes celebration, so there is a celebratory event." So King Wu of Zhou takes the image of Hexagram Qian. In the Shuogua, Hexagram Qian symbolizes the monarch.
