1345賁之乾[八口九頭, 長舌破家]釋賁九三象"永貞之吝, 終莫之陵也." [帝辛沈湎]釋未濟象"火在水上, 未濟. 君子以慎辨物居方." 尚注"帝辛, 紂也." [商滅其墟]䆁乾上九"亢龍有悔."

1345 贲卦变为乾卦 [有八张嘴和九个头,长舌头会破坏家庭],用来解释贲卦九三爻的象辞 “长久坚守正道而有憾惜,最终也不会被欺凌”。 [商纣王沉迷于酒色],用来解释未济卦的象辞 “火在水上,是未济卦。君子因此要审慎地分辨事物,使它们各居其位”。尚氏注释 “帝辛,就是商纣王”。 [商朝灭亡,成为废墟],用来解释乾卦上九爻辞 “亢奋的龙(居高位而不知退)会有悔恨”。

英文:1345 Hexagram Bi changes into Hexagram Qian. [There are eight mouths and nine heads, and the long tongue will destroy the family], which is used to interpret the Image statement of the third line of the upper trigram of Hexagram Bi: "Adhere to the right path for a long time and there is regret, and finally will not be bullied." [King Zhou of Shang indulged in wine and women], which is used to interpret the Image statement of Hexagram Weiji: "Fire is above water, which is Hexagram Weiji. The gentleman should thus carefully distinguish things and make them stay in their respective positions." Shang's annotation: "Di Xin is King Zhou of Shang." [The Shang Dynasty perished and became ruins], which is used to interpret the top ninth line of Hexagram Qian: "The over 亢奋 dragon (staying in a high position without knowing to retreat) will have regret."

 

1346賁之坤[鬼守我們, 呼伯入山]釋賁九三"賁如濡如, 永貞吉." [去其室家]釋乾上九"亢龍有悔." [舍其兆基]釋坤為死. 李疏"雷地豫六五貞吉恆不死,下應在坤, 月滅于坤乙, 為既死魄, 故坤為死." 尚注"孝經卜其宅兆, 而安厝之, 注:塋墓界域曰兆. 舍, 居也."

1346 贲卦变为坤卦 [鬼守护着我们,呼唤伯父进入山中],用来解释贲卦九三爻辞 “文饰得光泽柔润,长久坚守正道吉利”。 [离开自己的家室],用来解释乾卦上九爻辞 “亢奋的龙(居高位而不知退)会有悔恨”。 [舍弃那墓地的基址],用来解释坤卦代表死亡。李道平疏解 “雷地豫卦六五爻‘坚守正道吉利,恒久不会死亡’,下应在坤卦,月亮在坤卦的‘乙’位消失,是月相中的既死魄,所以坤卦代表死亡”。尚氏注释 “《孝经》中说占卜墓地的宅兆,然后把死者安葬在那里,注释:墓地的界域叫做‘兆’。‘舍’,是居住的意思”。

Shang's annotation: "In the Book of Filial Piety, it is said to divine the location of the cemetery and then bury the deceased there. Annotation: The boundary of the cemetery is called 'Zhao'. Four Books Annotation: "Zhangfu is a kind of ceremonial hat. King Zhou of Shang was immoral, and Jizi pretended to be crazy and became a slave." Shang's annotation: "'Jian' means grass. Wear court clothes on the upper body and straw sandals on the lower body, which is not a proper match, so it is said that (Jizi's behavior) is crazy." [Jizi pretended to be crazy], which is used to interpret in the Zagua: "Hexagram Tun means that things emerge but do not lose their foundation." 1348 贲卦变为蒙卦 [头上戴着盆子仰望天空,看不见星辰],用来解释贲卦的彖辞 “观察天文现象,以考察时节的变化。观察人类社会的文化现象,以教化成就天下”。 [顾及小的方面而失去大的方面],用来解释屯卦的卦名,“屯” 意味着艰难。 [福气逃到了墙外],用来解释蒙卦六四爻辞 “困于蒙昧,有憾惜”。 [集合注释]1063 条是随卦变蹇卦,2685 条是益卦变中孚卦,3637 条是巽卦变渐卦,3922 条是小过卦变蛊卦。

Observe the cultural phenomena of human society to educate and achieve the world." [Take care of the small aspects but lose the big aspects], which is used to interpret the name of Hexagram Tun. "Tun" means difficulty. [Good fortune escapes outside the wall], which is used to interpret the fourth line of the upper trigram of Hexagram Meng: "Be trapped in ignorance, there is regret." [Collected Annotations] The 1063rd item is that Hexagram Sui changes into Hexagram Jian, the 2685th item is that Hexagram Yi changes into Hexagram Zhongfu, the 3637th item is that Hexagram Xun changes into Hexagram Jian, and the 3922nd item is that Hexagram Xiaoguo changes into Hexagram Gu.

 

1349賁之需[兩輪並轉, 南上大阪]釋賁卦辭"亨, 小利有攸往." 言有所前往將獲小利. [四馬共轅, 無有重難]釋蒙象"山下出泉,蒙. 君子以果行育德." [與語笑言]釋需卦辭"有孚, 光亨, 貞吉, 利涉大川." 言只要有心怀誠信, 耐心等候時機, 必能克服艱難險阻, 獲得得吉祥. [集注]0549小畜之家人, 4030既濟之小過.

1349 贲卦变为需卦 [两个车轮一起转动,往南驶上大的山坡],用来解释贲卦的卦辞 “亨通,小的利益在于有所前往”。意思是有所前往将会获得小的利益。 [四匹马共同拉着车辕,没有重重的困难],用来解释蒙卦的象辞 “山下流出泉水,是蒙卦。君子因此要果断行动以培育品德”。 [和人交谈说笑],用来解释需卦的卦辞 “心怀诚信,光明亨通,坚守正道吉利,利于涉越大河”。意思是只要心怀诚信,耐心等候时机,必定能克服艰难险阻,获得吉祥。 [集合注释]0549 条是小畜卦变家人卦,4030 条是既济卦变小过卦。

英文:1349 Hexagram Bi changes into Hexagram Xu. [The two wheels turn together and drive southward up the big slope], which is used to interpret the hexagram statement of Hexagram Bi: "It is smooth, and the small benefit lies in going somewhere." It means that going somewhere will obtain a small benefit. [Four horses pull the cart shaft together, and there is no great difficulty], which is used to interpret the Image statement of Hexagram Meng: "Spring water flows out from below the mountain, which is Hexagram Meng. The gentleman should thus act decisively to cultivate virtue." [Talk and laugh with people], which is used to interpret the hexagram statement of Hexagram Xu: "Have sincerity in the heart, be bright and smooth, adhere to the right path and it is auspicious, it is beneficial to cross the big river." It means that as long as one has sincerity in the heart and waits patiently for the opportunity, one will surely overcome the difficulties and obstacles and obtain good fortune. [Collected Annotations] The 0549th item is that Hexagram Xiaoxu changes into Hexagram Jiaren, and the 4030th item is that Hexagram Jiji changes into Hexagram Xiaoguo.

 

1350賁之訟[羊驚狼虎, 聳耳羣聚]釋賁九三象"永貞之吉, 終莫之陵也." 聳, 矗起.[行旅稽難]釋需九二"需于沙, 小有言, 終吉." 說文”稽, 留止也.”[流連愁苦]需訟九四"不克訟, 復即命, 渝, 安貞吉."

1350 贲卦变为讼卦 [羊被狼和老虎惊吓,竖起耳朵聚集在一起],用来解释贲卦九三爻的象辞 “长久坚守正道而吉利,最终也不会被欺凌”。“耸”,是矗起的意思。 [出行旅行遇到阻碍和困难],用来解释需卦九二爻辞 “在沙滩上等待,有小的责难之言,最终吉利”。《说文解字》中说 “稽,是留止的意思”。 [(因困境而)流连徘徊,忧愁痛苦],用来解释讼卦九四爻辞 “不能胜诉,回来重新顺应天命,改变(态度),安守正道吉利”。

[The sheep are frightened by the wolf and the tiger, and they prick up their ears and gather together], which is used to interpret the Image statement of the third line of the upper trigram of Hexagram Bi: "Adhere to the right path for a long time and it is auspicious, and finally will not be bullied." "Song" means to stand up. [Encounter obstacles and difficulties during the journey], which is used to interpret the second line of the upper trigram of Hexagram Xu: "Wait on the beach, there are small words of blame, and finally it is auspicious." In the Shuowen Jiezi, it is said: "Ji means to stay." [(Due to the difficult situation) linger and wander, feel sad and painful], which is used to interpret the fourth line of the upper trigram of Hexagram Song: "Cannot win the lawsuit, come back and conform to the will of heaven again, change (the attitude), adhere to the right path and it is auspicious."

 

1351賁之師[楩生荊山, 命制輪班]釋賁六二象"賁其須, 與上興也." 丁云"楩, 南方大木. 輸班, 即魯之公輸子.”[袍衣剝落, 夏熱冬寒]釋訟六三"食舊德, 貞厲, 終吉. 或從王事, 無成." [飢餓枯槁, 眾人莫憐]釋師六三"師或輿尸, 凶." 言貪功冒進, 必致凶險.[集注]0063乾之既濟, 0896大有之未濟.

1351 贲卦变为师卦 [楩树生长在荆山,命运是被制成车轮(供鲁班之类的工匠使用)],用来解释贲卦六二爻的象辞 “文饰自己的胡须,是因为与上位者一起兴起”。丁氏说 “楩,是南方的大树。‘输班’,就是鲁国的公输子(鲁班)”。 [袍衣剥落,夏天炎热冬天寒冷],用来解释讼卦六三爻辞 “享受先人的德业,坚守正道有危险,最终吉利。或者随从君王做事,没有功绩”。 [饥饿到身体枯槁的程度,众人都不怜悯],用来解释师卦六三爻辞 “军队(出征时)或许会载着尸体(失败而归),凶险”。意思是贪功冒进,必定导致凶险。 [集合注释]0063 条是乾卦变既济卦,0896 条是大有卦变未济卦。

英文:1351 Hexagram Bi changes into Hexagram Shi. [The Pian tree grows on Jing Mountain, and its destiny is to be made into a cartwheel (for craftsmen like Lu Ban)], which is used to interpret the Image statement of the second line of the upper trigram of Hexagram Bi: "Decorate one's own beard, because it rises together with the superior." Mr. Ding said: "Pian is a big tree in the south. 'Shuban' is Gongshuzi (Lu Ban) of the State of Lu." [The robe peels off, it is hot in summer and cold in winter], which is used to interpret the third line of the upper trigram of Hexagram Song: "Enjoy the merits and virtues of the ancestors, adhere to the right path and there is danger, and finally it is auspicious. Or follow the king to do things, there are no achievements." [Be so hungry that the body is emaciated, and no one shows pity], which is used to interpret the third line of the upper trigram of Hexagram Shi: "The army (when going on an expedition) may carry the corpses (and return in failure), it is dangerous." It means that being greedy for merits and advancing rashly will surely lead to danger. [Collected Annotations] The 0063rd item is that Hexagram Qian changes into Hexagram Jiji, and the 0896th item is that Hexagram Dayou changes into Hexagram Weiji.

 

1352賁之比[鳥飛無翼, 兔走折足]釋賁九三”賁如, 濡如, 永貞吉.”[不常其德]釋雜卦"師, 憂." [自為羞辱]釋比六三象"比之匪人?不亦傷乎?"

1352 贲卦变为比卦 [鸟飞行没有翅膀,兔子奔跑折断了脚],用来解释贲卦九三爻辞 “文饰得光泽柔润,长久坚守正道吉利”。 [不能长久保持自己的品德],用来解释《杂卦》中 “师卦,意味着忧虑”。 [自己给自己带来羞辱],用来解释比卦六三爻的象辞 “亲近不应当亲近的人,不也是很伤心的事吗?”

英文:1352 Hexagram Bi changes into Hexagram Bi. [The bird flies without wings, and the rabbit runs with a broken foot], which is used to interpret the third line of the upper trigram of Hexagram Bi: "Be decorated with a glossy and soft luster, and it is auspicious to adhere to the right path for a long time." [Cannot maintain one's own virtue for a long time], which is used to interpret in the Zagua: "Hexagram Shi means worry." [Bring shame on oneself], which is used to interpret the Image statement of the third line of the upper trigram of Hexagram Bi: "Be close to the people who should not be approached, isn't it a sad thing?"

 

1353賁之小畜[條風制氣, 萬物出生]春風製造氣流. 釋賁九三"賁如, 濡如, 永貞吉." 言雖得文飾潤澤, 仍須守持貞正. 尚注”史記律書:條風居東北, 主生萬物. 故曰長養.” 條風本為立春時所吹的東北風, 後多指春風.[明庶長養]釋比初六"有孚比之, 無咎. 有孚盈缶, 終來有它吉." [花葉茂榮]釋小畜九五"有孚攣如, 富以其鄰."

1353 贲卦变为小畜卦 [条风掌控着节气,万物开始生长出生],春风制造气流。用来解释贲卦九三爻辞 “文饰得光泽柔润,长久坚守正道吉利”。意思是虽然得到了文饰润泽,仍然需要守持正道。尚氏注释 “《史记・律书》记载:条风位于东北方向,主宰着万物的生长。所以说(条风的作用是)生长养育”。条风本来是立春时所吹的东北风,后来大多指春风。 [明庶风促进万物生长养育],用来解释比卦初六爻辞 “心怀诚信去亲近比附,没有过错。心怀诚信如同满溢的瓦罐,最终还会有其他的吉利之事”。 [花朵和叶子茂盛繁荣],用来解释小畜卦九五爻辞 “心怀诚信,牵系(众人),与邻居一同富有”。

英文:1353 Hexagram Bi changes into Hexagram Xiaoxu. [The Tiaofeng controls the solar terms, and all things begin to grow and be born], the spring breeze creates the air current. It is used to interpret the third line of the upper trigram of Hexagram Bi: "Be decorated with a glossy and soft luster, and it is auspicious to adhere to the right path for a long time." It means that although one gets the decoration and luster, one still needs to maintain the right path. Shang's annotation: "The 'Book of Rhythms' in the Records of the Grand Historian records: The Tiaofeng is located in the northeast direction and dominates the growth of all things. So it is said that (the function of the Tiaofeng is) growth and nurturing." The Tiaofeng was originally the northeast wind that blows at the Beginning of Spring, and later it mostly refers to the spring breeze. [The Mingshu Feng promotes the growth and nurturing of all things], which is used to interpret the first line of the lower trigram of Hexagram Bi: "Have sincerity in the heart and attach to others, there is no fault. Have sincerity in the heart like a full crock, and there will finally be other auspicious things." [The flowers and leaves are lush and prosperous], which is used to interpret the fifth line of the upper trigram of Hexagram Xiaoxu: "Have sincerity in the heart, tie (the people), and become rich together with the neighbors."

 

1354賁之履[坤厚地德, 庶物蕃息]釋賁九三"賁如, 濡如, 永貞吉." [平康正直]釋小畜六四"有孚, 血去惕出, 無咎." [以綏大福]釋履上九象"元吉在上, 大有慶也." [集注]0680泰之解, 3352漸之復, 3631巽之困, 3752渙之解.

1354 贲卦变为履卦 [大地宽厚,具有坤地的品德,众多的生物繁衍生长],用来解释贲卦九三爻辞 “文饰得光泽柔润,长久坚守正道吉利”。 [平安康泰,正直无私],用来解释小畜卦六四爻辞 “心怀诚信,(远离)血光之灾,恐惧消除,没有过错”。 [以此来获得大福分],用来解释履卦上九爻的象辞 “大吉处于上位,是大有福庆之事”。 [集合注释]0680 条是泰卦变解卦,3352 条是渐卦变复卦,3631 条是巽卦变困卦,3752 条是涣卦变解卦。

英文:1354 Hexagram Bi changes into Hexagram Lü. [Peaceful, healthy, and upright and selfless], which is used to interpret the fourth line of the upper trigram of Hexagram Xiaoxu: "Have sincerity in the heart, (stay away from) the disaster of bloodshed, the fear is eliminated, there is no fault." [Obtain great good fortune with this], which is used to interpret the Image statement of the top ninth line of Hexagram Lü: "Great auspiciousness is in the highest position, it is a very fortunate and celebratory thing." [Collected Annotations] The 0680th item is that Hexagram Tai changes into Hexagram Jie, the 3352nd item is that Hexagram Jian changes into Hexagram Fu, the 3631st item is that Hexagram Xun changes into Hexagram Kun, and the 3752nd item is that Hexagram Huan changes into Hexagram Jie.

 

1355賁之泰[昴畢附耳, 將軍乘怒]䆁賁九三"賁如濡如, 永貞吉." 史記天官書"昴曰旄頭, 胡星, 為白衣會. 畢曰罕車, 為邊兵, 主弋獵. 其大星旁有小星曰附耳. 附耳搖動, 主有讒亂臣在側." [徑路隔塞]釋雜卦”履, 不處也.” 徑路, 小路.[燕雀驚駭]釋泰上六象"城復于隍, 其命亂矣."

The "Book of Celestial Officials" in the Records of the Grand Historian records: "The Mao asterism is called Maotou, it is the constellation of the Hu people and represents the gathering of people in white clothes (a kind of astrological omen). The Bi asterism is called Hancheng, it represents the army on the border and dominates the hunting. There is a small star beside the big star of the Bi asterism called the Fuer star. If the Fuer star shakes, it indicates that there are courtiers who slander and cause trouble beside the monarch." [The small path is blocked and obstructed], which is used to interpret in the Zagua: "Hexagram Lü means not to stay." "Jinglu" refers to the small path. [The swallows and sparrows are frightened], which is used to interpret the Image statement of the top sixth line of Hexagram Tai: "The city wall collapses into the moat, (the fate of the country) is in chaos."

 

1356賁之否[東方啓戶, 黔啄翻舞]釋賁九三"賁如, 濡如, 永貞吉." 黔啄, 黑嘴鳥. 翟云”啄, 當作喙. 易說卦為黔驢喙之屬.” 尚注"啄, 無論何本皆同, 是焦讀黔喙為黔啄, 専主鳥象." [各樂其類]釋泰初九"拔茅茹, 以其𢑥, 征吉." [咸得生處]釋否九四"有命, 無咎, 疇離祉."

1356 贲卦变为否卦 [在东方打开门户,黑嘴的鸟儿翻飞起舞],用来解释贲卦九三爻辞 “文饰得光泽柔润,长久坚守正道吉利”。“黔啄”,指黑嘴鸟。翟氏说 “啄,应当写作喙。《易经・说卦》中(离卦)代表像黑驴的嘴之类(的事物)”。尚氏注释 “‘啄’,无论哪个版本都是一样的,这说明焦氏把‘黔喙’读作‘黔啄’,专门取鸟的象征意义”。 [各自以自己的同类为乐],用来解释泰卦初九爻辞 “拔起茅草,根系相连,(结伴)前行吉利”。 [都能够得以生存安居],用来解释否卦九四爻辞 “承受天命,没有过错,众人都能获得福祉”。

Shang's annotation: "'Zhuo' is the same in any version, which shows that Jiao reads 'Qianhui' as 'Qianzhuo' and specifically takes the symbolic meaning of the bird." [Each takes pleasure in its own kind], which is used to interpret the first line of the lower trigram of Hexagram Tai: "Pull up the thatch, the roots are connected, (go forward in a group) and it is auspicious." 1367 贲卦变为剥卦 [依靠着叔叔躲在墙角,心志低落而内心劳苦,像在楚国的亭舍中清晨觅食(处境困窘)],用来解释贲卦六二爻的象辞 “文饰自己的胡须,是因为与上位者一起兴起”。 [像韩信低头(寄人篱下)],用来解释剥卦初六爻的象辞 “剥落(阳爻),没有过错,是因为脱离了上下的阴爻群体而独自应和阳刚”。意思是虽然处于剥落的时期却能没有过错,是因为它们能脱离上下群阴而独应阳刚。所谓 “九九未能前,淹留进莫先。西南交一友,同棹过蓬川。上下分,忧愁失。千嶂云,一轮月。” 尚氏注释 “这里用的是韩信寄食在亭长家的典故”。 [集合注释]0819 条是同人卦变震卦。

1370 贲卦变为大畜卦 [登上车子出发后中途返回,做事不能顺遂],登车出发,中途而退,起事不成功。用来解释贲卦上九爻辞 “以白色文饰,没有过错”。“升舆”,道藏本、汲古本作 “外舆”。翟氏说 “舆,指的是一起共事的人”。牟氏说 “表面上参与但内心却后悔退缩,所以做事不能成功”。 [吃粥损坏了牙齿],吃稀饭伤牙齿。用来解释大畜卦初九爻辞 “有危险,适宜停止(行动)”。尚氏注释 “糜,是煮得很烂的食物。吃了它却损坏了牙齿,所以说失去了(养生的)道理”。 [失去了做事的道理(不合理)],这是没有道理之事。用来解释《杂卦》中 “无妄卦,意味着有灾祸”。

1371賁之頤[鴻鵠高飛, 鳴求其雌]釋賁九三"賁如濡如, 永貞吉." [雌來在戶, 雄哺嘻嘻]釋大畜上九"何天之衢, 亨." 是説天作之合, 功德圓滿, 福澤深厚. [甚獨勞苦, 包鱉膾鯉]雖然獨自勞苦, 仍準備珍美的食物. 釋頤彖"觀頣, 觀其所養也. 自求口實, 觀其自養也." 詩小雅六月”飲御諸, 包鱉膾鯉.”鄭箋”又加其珍美之饌, 所以極勸也.” 包鱉膾鯉指珍美的饌食.

1371 贲卦变为颐卦 [鸿鹄高高地飞翔,鸣叫着寻求它的雌鸟],用来解释贲卦九三爻辞 “文饰得光泽柔润,长久坚守正道吉利”。 [雌鸟来到了家门口,雄鸟欢快地喂食],用来解释大畜卦上九爻辞 “多么通达的天道大路,亨通”。意思是这是天作之合,功德圆满,福泽深厚。 [虽然独自辛苦劳作,却准备了甲鱼羹和鲤鱼片(等珍美的食物)],虽然独自劳苦,仍准备珍美的食物。用来解释颐卦的彖辞 “观察颐养之道,就是观察所颐养的对象。自己谋求口中的食物,就是观察他的自养之道”。《诗经・小雅・六月》中说 “进献酒食宴请宾客,有甲鱼羹和鲤鱼片”。郑玄笺注 “又加上这些珍美的食物,是用来极力劝勉(宾客)的”。“包鳖脍鲤” 指珍美的食物。

1374 贲卦变为离卦 [光明不处于黑暗之中,智慧的人不踏入危险之地],用来解释贲卦上九爻辞 “以白色文饰,没有过错”。 [从早到晚,一整年],用来解释坎卦的象辞 “水接连不断地到来,是重重险陷的坎卦。君子因此要保持常德的行为,熟习教化之事”。 [快乐地笑着、唱着],用来解释离卦九二爻辞 “黄色附着于物(象征中正柔和),大为吉利”。

1375賁之咸[三足俱行, 傾危善僵]三隻腳走路, 傾斜危險客易僵硬. 釋賁上九"白賁, 无咎."[六指不便, 慁累弟兄]六隻手指反而不方便, 連累了其他五根手指. 釋離九四象"突如其來如, 無所容也." 翟云"慁, 猶患也." 尚注"足, 指, 原恃以行動, 乃三足行, 宜速而善僵. 六指宜便利而為累, 皆以有餘而不利." [樹柱閡車, 失其正當]䆁咸六二"咸其腓, 凶, 居吉." 閡, 阻隔不通.

1375 贲卦变为咸卦 [三只脚一起行走,容易倾斜危险且(行动)僵硬],三只脚走路,倾斜危险容易僵硬。用来解释贲卦上九爻辞 “以白色文饰,没有过错”。 [六根手指反而不方便,连累了其他(正常的)手指(如同连累兄弟)],六只手指反而不方便,连累了其他五根手指。用来解释离卦九四爻的象辞 “突然来到,没有容身之处”。翟氏说 “慁,就如同‘患’(有连累、困扰的意思)”。尚氏注释 “脚和手指,原本是依靠它们来行动的,然而三只脚行走,本应快速却容易僵硬。六根手指本应更便利却成了累赘,都是因为多余反而不利”。 [树立柱子来阻挡车子(的行进),失去了它(做事)的正当性],用来解释咸卦六二爻辞 “感应到小腿肚(却盲目行动),凶险,安居则吉利”。“閡”,是阻隔不通的意思。

1376賁之恆[舍車而徒, 亡其駁牛]釋賁初九象"舍車而徒, 義弗乘也." 駁, 色不純. [雖喪白頭]釋咸九四"貞吉, 悔亡. 憧憧往來, 朋從爾思." 是説守正道沒有憂悔, 心神不定地來往, 與朋友心靈契合. 翟云"雖, 當作綏. 綏喪, 雪霜也. 釋名釋天:雪, 绥也. 霜, 喪也." 並不妥當. 北堂書鈔卷一百三十九曰”雖老白頭.” 是説因老而白頭. [酒以療憂]釋恆初六"浚恆, 貞凶, 無攸利."是説急於深求恆道, 將欲速不達而無利.

1376 贲卦变为恒卦 [舍弃车子而步行,丢失了那匹毛色不纯的牛],用来解释贲卦初九爻的象辞 “舍弃车子而步行,是因为从道义上不应乘车”。“驳”,是颜色不纯的意思。 [虽然头发变白(年老)],用来解释咸卦九四爻辞 “坚守正道吉利,悔恨消失。心神不定地来来往往,朋友会顺从你的想法”。意思是坚守正道就没有忧愁悔恨,心神不定地往来,与朋友心灵契合。翟氏说 “虽,应当写作‘绥’。‘绥丧’,就是雪霜的意思。《释名・释天》中说:雪,就是绥;霜,就是丧”。(这种说法)并不妥当。《北堂书钞》卷一百三十九中说 “虽老白头”。意思是因为年老而头发变白。 [用酒来治疗忧愁],用来解释恒卦初六爻辞 “深入追求恒久之道(却过于急切),坚守正道凶险,没有什么有利的”。意思是急于深求恒道,将会欲速不达而没有益处。

In Volume 139 of the Beitang Shuchao, it is said: "Sui Lao Bai Tou." It means that the hair turns white because of old age. [Use wine to cure the sorrow], which is used to interpret the first line of the lower trigram of Hexagram Heng: "Deeply pursue the way of constancy (but too eagerly), adhere to the right path and it is dangerous, there is nothing favorable." 1377賁之遯[析薪熾酒, 使媒求婦]釋賁六四"匪寇婚媾, 終無尤也." 言不是盜寇而是來求婚, 最終不會有什麼憂怨.” 析薪, 劈材. 爝酒:熱酒. 詩齊風南山”析薪如之何?匪斧不克. 取妻如之何? 匪媒不得.” 孔穎達疏”言析薪之法如之何乎?非用斧不能斫之, 以興娶妻之法如之何乎, 非使媒不能得之.” 後因以析薪指作媒而言. 説卦艮為手, 故為劈, 為析. 析取象於賁上卦艮. 尚注焦氏易詁第152頁稱”賁之遁云;析薪熾酒, 以遁艮為析也.” 尚注用象有誤. 1377 贲卦变为遁卦 [劈开木柴,烧热酒水,让媒人去求婚],用来解释贲卦六四爻辞 “不是强盗,而是来求婚的,最终不会有什么怨恨”。意思是不是盗寇而是来求婚,最终不会有什么忧怨。“析薪”,是劈柴的意思。“爝酒”:是热酒的意思。《诗经・齐风・南山》中说 “劈柴应该怎么做呢?没有斧头就不能砍。娶妻应该怎么做呢?没有媒人就不能成功”。孔颖达疏解 “说劈柴的方法是怎样的呢?不用斧头就不能砍断它,以此来比喻娶妻的方法是怎样的呢,没有媒人就不能娶到妻子”。后来因此用 “析薪” 指代做媒这件事。《说卦》中艮卦代表手,所以代表劈、析的动作。“析” 取象于贲卦的上卦艮卦。尚氏注释《焦氏易诂》第 152 页中称 “贲卦变为遁卦说;析薪熾酒,是因为遁卦中的艮卦(有手的象征所以能)进行劈析”。尚氏注释中对卦象的运用有误。 [使齐国和宋国和好联合],用来解释恒卦九二爻辞 “悔恨消失”。意思是通过调和合作来追求恒常之道,可以使悔恨消失。 [姜太公(姜子牙)喜悦高兴],用来解释遁卦九五爻辞 “美好的退避,坚守正道吉利”。意思是受到神明的庇佑,圆满地退避。功成身退,坚守正道就会吉祥。 [集合注释]1317 条是噬嗑卦变家人卦。

1378 贲卦变为大壮卦 [在夜里视物不清,不利于商贾经商],意思是夜间看不清,不利于做生意。指子反看不清楚形势,就不能参与夏姬的争夺。用来解释贲卦九三爻辞 “文饰得光泽柔润,长久坚守正道吉利”。 [子反欢笑],意思是子反急流勇退因而欢笑。用来解释遁卦九三爻的象辞 “系恋于退避而有危险,是因为有疾病而疲惫。畜养臣仆和侍妾吉利,不可以做大事”。 [与众人聚集(行事)为敌],意思是不能干预军国大事。“市”,指聚集。用来解释《杂卦》中 “大壮卦意味着适可而止”。意思是做事要适可而止,急流勇退。子反在公元前 598 年跟随楚庄王攻打陈国,俘获了夏姬。楚王想纳夏姬为妾,被巫臣劝阻。子反也想娶夏姬,巫臣说夏姬不祥,很多人因为她而死。楚庄王把夏姬赐给了连尹襄公。这件事记载于《左传・成公二年》。

It is used to interpret in the Zagua: "Hexagram Dazhuang means to stop at the right moment." It means that one should stop at the right moment when doing things and retreat in a timely manner. In 598 BC, Zifan followed King Zhuang of Chu to attack the State of Chen and captured Xia Ji. King Zhuang of Chu wanted to take Xia Ji as his concubine, but was dissuaded by Wuchen. Zifan also wanted to marry Xia Ji, and Wuchen said that Xia Ji was inauspicious, and many people died because of her. King Zhuang of Chu bestowed Xia Ji on Lianyin Xianggong. 1382 贲卦变为睽卦 [君子在朝堂之上,凶邪的言论就会消除],“凶言”,就是凶邪之言。用来解释贲卦六二爻的象辞 “文饰自己的胡须,是因为与上位者一起兴起”。《墨子・非命上》中说 “做父亲的就不慈爱,做儿子的就不孝顺,做兄长的就不善良,做弟弟的就不悌敬,而坚持这些(错误观念)的人,岂止是凶邪之言产生的根源,更是残暴之人的行径”。 [在惊骇中追逐恶狼(叛贼)],在惊滔骇浪中追逐叛贼。用来解释家人卦九五爻辞 “君王来到(治理)自己的家,不必忧虑,吉利”。意思是君王能以中正之道治理而使家道兴隆,无须忧虑,必定获得吉祥。 [见不到杰出的英雄人物],用来解释睽卦的象辞 “上面是火下面是泽,是睽卦。君子要在求同的基础上存异”。其主旨在于事物纷繁复杂,不可强求一致,如果没有求同存异的气度,那么睽离的状态就不能合好,事情也无法成功。

The gentleman should seek common ground while reserving differences." Its main idea is that things are complex and diverse, and one cannot force uniformity. If there is no tolerance of seeking common ground while reserving differences, then the state of estrangement cannot be reconciled, and things cannot be successful.

 

1383賁之蹇[隱隠填填, 火燒山根]雷雨大作, 火燒山腳. 釋賁九三"賁如, 濡如, 永貞吉." 翟云"隱隠, 水流聲. 填填, 雷聲. 此言雷雨大作而不滅山根之火也." 牟云火燒, 疑當作水澆. 依此説, 則隱隱亦言雷聲, 而水澆山根言大雨也."[不潤我鄰]釋序卦"睽者, 乖也." [獨不蒙恩]䆁序卦"蹇者, 難也." [集注]3695兌之困.

1383 贲卦变为蹇卦 [隐隐的水流声,填填的雷鸣声,山脚下燃起大火],雷雨大作,火烧山脚。用来解释贲卦九三爻辞 “文饰得光泽柔润,长久坚守正道吉利”。翟氏说 “隐隐,是水流的声音。填填,是雷鸣的声音。这是说雷雨大作却没有浇灭山脚下的火”。牟氏说 “火烧”,怀疑应当是 “水浇”。按照这种说法,那么 “隐隐” 也指雷鸣声,而 “水浇山根” 是说下大雨。 [不能润泽我的邻居],用来解释《序卦》中 “睽卦,意味着乖离”。 [唯独自己不能蒙受恩泽],用来解释《序卦》中 “蹇卦,意味着艰难”。 [集合注释]3695 条是兑卦变困卦。

1386 贲卦变为益卦 [穿着毡毛衣服,盖着茅草编织的被子,(远方之人)仰慕德行而献上服饰],用来解释贲卦六二爻的象辞 “文饰自己的胡须,是因为与上位者一起兴起”。“旃裘”,是毡毛衣服。“苫盖”,是茅草编的被子。 [边境地区不再惊恐不安],用来解释损卦六四爻辞 “减轻自己的毛病,迅速地行动会有喜悦之事,没有过错”。意思是减损自身的缺点,将会有喜事且没有过错。尚氏注释 “不耸” 的意思是,夷狄前来归服,所以边境地区不再震惊恐惧。 [以此来使王国安定],用来解释益卦九五爻辞 “心怀诚信,有施惠之心,不必占问,大为吉利,心怀诚信会使百姓回报我的恩德”。意思是诚心施政,施惠于下民,必定会大获吉祥。尚氏说 “这好像说的是姜太公八十岁归附周朝的事情”。

1388 贲卦变为姤卦 [下泉边长着稂草,很长时间没有君主(国家混乱)],用来解释贲卦六二爻辞 “文饰自己的胡须,是因为与上位者一起兴起”。 [荀伯遇到了好时机],用来解释夬卦九五爻辞 “果断地除去像莧陆草一样的小人,坚守中正之道就没有过错”。意思是在决断除去小人时,坚持果毅中正,就可以没有过错。 [忧虑思念周朝的京都],用来解释姤卦上九爻辞 “遇到(姤合)在角上(已到穷极之位),有憾惜,但没有过错”。这一爻居于姤卦的极位,高高在上,与下面没有应和,遇合之道已经达到穷极,所以说有憾惜。因为它远离初六轻浮不诚信的小人,所以可以远离灾祸而没有过错。 [集合注释]1142 条是蛊卦变归妹卦。

1391賁之困[鳳生五雛, 長於南郭]釋賁六二象"賁其須, 與上興也." [君子康甯]釋升九二"孚乃利用禴, 無咎." 此爻陽剛居下卦之中, 上應六五, 猶上升期之君子, 心懷誠信, 堅守中道, 此時以祭天的方式表明其誠心, 可以得到在上者的信任與器重, 則可順利上升而無咎. [悅樂身榮]釋困九二"困于酒食, 朱紱方來, 利用享祀, 征兇. 無咎.” 此爻處困厄之時, 即酒食亦感困乏, 但陽剛處中, 以享祀表其誠信, 以求其福, 必能脫出困厄, 榮祿臨身而無咎. 征凶, 誡其需長久守持中道, 不可急於脫離困厄. 如能長久守持中道, 必有喜慶.

1391 贲卦变为困卦 [凤凰生出五只雏鸟,在南郭长大],用来解释贲卦六二爻的象辞 “文饰自己的胡须,是因为与上位者一起兴起”。 [君子安康宁静],用来解释升卦九二爻辞 “心怀诚信,就有利于举行薄祭(表达诚意),没有过错”。这一爻阳刚居于下卦的中位,上应六五爻,就如同处于上升时期的君子,心怀诚信,坚守中道,此时以简单的祭天方式表明他的诚心,就可以得到在上位者的信任与器重,那么就可以顺利上升而没有过错。 [喜悦快乐,自身荣耀加身],用来解释困卦九二爻辞 “为酒食所困(身处困厄),但红色的官服(荣禄)即将到来,有利于举行祭祀,出征会有凶险,但最终没有过错”。这一爻处于困厄之时,即使是酒食也感到匮乏,但阳刚处于中位,通过举行祭祀来表明他的诚信,以求取福气,必定能够脱离困厄,荣耀俸禄降临而没有过错。“征凶”,告诫他需要长久地守持中道,不可急于脱离困厄。如果能够长久守持中道,必定会有喜庆之事。

It is like a gentleman in the rising period, having sincerity in the heart and adhering to the middle way. At this time, showing his sincerity with a simple way of sacrificing to heaven, he can get the trust and recognition of the superior, and then he can rise smoothly without fault. [Be joyful and happy, and honor comes to oneself], which is used to interpret the second line of the upper trigram of Hexagram Kun: "Be trapped by wine and food (in a difficult situation), but the red official robe (honor and emolument) is coming soon, it is beneficial to hold a sacrifice, going on an expedition will be dangerous, but finally there is no fault." This line is in a difficult situation, and even the wine and food are in short supply. But the yang is firm and in the middle position. By holding a sacrifice, he shows his sincerity to seek good fortune. He will surely get out of the difficult situation, and honor and emolument will come without fault. "Zhengxiong" warns him that he needs to adhere to the middle way for a long time and not be eager to get out of the difficult situation. If he can adhere to the middle way for a long time, there will surely be joyful events.

 

1392賁之井[二人為旅, 俱歸北海]䆁賁九二”賁其須.” 言柔下者當文飾剛上者, 以廣尊者之德.[入門上堂, 拜謁王母]釋困九二"困于酒食, 朱紱方來, 利用享祀, 征凶, 無咎." [勞賜我酒, 女功悅喜]䆁雜卦”井, 通.” 指井水養人不窮, 故得通暢. 或井九三”井渫不食, 為我心惻, 可用汲, 王明, 並受其福.” 此爻陽剛的得正, 有渫井養人之德, 但水純淨而無人食, 使人內心悲傷. 然其上應上六, 將有上尊賢明, 汲而用之並受其德之象, 此賢人先不遇而後通達之象. [集注]0024乾之復, 0242蒙之鼎.

1392 贲卦变为井卦 [两个人结伴旅行,一起回到北海],用来解释贲卦九二爻辞 “文饰自己的胡须”。意思是柔顺居下者应当文饰刚健居上者,以推广尊者的德行。 [进入家门,走上厅堂,拜见王母(长辈)],用来解释困卦九二爻辞 “为酒食所困(身处困厄),但红色的官服(荣禄)即将到来,有利于举行祭祀,出征会有凶险,但最终没有过错”。 [慰劳赏赐给我美酒,女子的手工劳作成果让人喜悦],用来解释《杂卦》中 “井卦,意味着通畅”。指的是井水滋养人没有穷尽,所以能够通畅。或者解释井卦九三爻辞 “井水淘净了却没有人饮用,使我内心悲伤,这井水可以汲取使用,君王圣明(重用贤才),那么大家都能受到福泽”。这一爻阳刚得正,有淘井滋养人的德行,但井水纯净却无人饮用,让人内心悲伤。然而它上应上六爻,将会有上位者贤明,汲取井水使用并且受到其德泽的景象,这是贤人先不被重用而后通达的象征。 [集合注释]0024 条是乾卦变复卦,0242 条是蒙卦变鼎卦。

This line is yang and firm and in the right position, having the virtue of purifying the well and nourishing people. But the well water is pure but no one drinks it, which makes people sad. However, it responds to the top sixth line. There will be a scene that the superior is sage, draws and uses the well water and receives its virtuous influence. This is a symbol that the virtuous person is not reused at first and then becomes successful. 1394賁之鼎[東門之壇, 茹蘆在阪]賢人居住在鄭國東門, 東門之外有廣塲, 廣塲之外有山坡, 茅草治著山坡生長. 釋賁六二象"賁其須, 與上興也." 四部注"詩東門之墠:茹籚在阪. 言城東門之旁有墠, 墠之外有阪, 阪之上有草也."[禮義不行]君王不以禮聘臣子. 釋革九三”征兇, 貞厲, 革言三就, 有孚.” 此爻陽居陽光位, 處下卦的上位, 並與上六有應, 有變菜之時急於求成之象, 故誡其征兇, 貞厲害. 變革非易事, 多有曲折, 歷史上吳起, 商鞅, 王安石等莫不如此, 唯心誠意篤, 方可成功. [與我心反]使我心傷. 䆁鼎九二"鼎有實, 我仇有疾, 不我能即, 凶." 此爻陽剛充實, 居下卦之中, 上應六五, 猶推行革新的重臣, 美德充實. 革新亦有實在的內容, 故雖有反對者疾恨而終能免害獲吉. 尚注"黃丕烈云:正義云:遍檢諸本皆作壇, 今定本作蟬. 釋文云壇者, 音善, 依字當作蟬云云, 今易林正作壇, 可見作易林時仍是壇字, 與孔疏合. 今作蟬, 似是, 實非是, 易林可證經誤字. 按:此詩毛以為刺淫奔, 焦以為賢人居鄭東門, 君若臣不以禮致之, 室邇人遠也. 義較毛長." 陳喬樅齊詩遺説考曰;毛敘以此詩為刺亂, 男女有不待禮而相奔者. 姜炳璋詩序廣義云:晉酒泉太守馬岌求見宋纖不得, 銘曰:丹崖百尺, 青壁千尋, 室邇人遠, 實勞我心. 玩易林與此銘, 是皆以此詩與林杜, 緇衣同旨, 蓋謂賢人居鄭之東門, 君若臣莫能以禮致之, 室邇而人遠也, 詩言有可望而不可即之意, 不必其為淫奔之詩, 然則齊説殆與毛殊矣.”

1394 贲卦变为鼎卦 [郑国东门外的土坛,茜草生长在山坡上],贤人居住在郑国东门,东门外有广场,广场外有山坡,茅草沿着山坡生长。用来解释贲卦六二爻的象辞 “文饰自己的胡须,是因为与上位者一起兴起”。四部注释 “《诗经・东门之墠》中说:茹芦在阪。意思是城东门旁边有土坛,土坛之外有山坡,山坡之上有草”。 [礼义得不到施行],君王不用礼贤下士的方式聘请臣子。用来解释革卦九三爻辞 “出征有凶险,坚守正道有危险,变革的言论多次附合(经过多次讨论和准备),要有诚信”。这一爻阳爻居于阳刚之位,处于下卦的上位,并且与上六爻有应和关系,有变革之时急于求成的迹象,所以告诫说出征有凶险,坚守正道也有危害。变革不是容易的事情,多有曲折,历史上的吴起、商鞅、王安石等人都是如此,只有心意真诚、意志坚定,才能够成功。 [与我的心意相反],让我内心悲伤。用来解释鼎卦九二爻辞 “鼎中有实物(象征有才能和实力),我的仇敌有疾病(不能来侵害我),不能接近我,(起初看似)凶险(但最终无害)” 。这一爻阳刚充实,居于下卦的中位,上应六五爻,就如同推行革新的重臣,美德充实。革新也有实实在在的内容,所以虽然有反对者的嫉恨,但最终能够免受危害获得吉利。尚氏注释 “黄丕烈说:《正义》中说:普遍检查各种版本都写作‘坛’,现在的定本写作‘蟬’。《释文》中说‘坛’,读音为‘善’,按照字的本意应当写作‘蟬’等等,现在《易林》中正好写作‘坛’,可见写作《易林》的时候仍然是‘坛’字,与孔颖达的疏解相符。现在写作‘蟬’,看似正确,实际上是错误的,《易林》可以证明经典中的错字。按:这首诗毛氏认为是讽刺男女淫乱私奔的,焦氏认为是贤人居住在郑国东门,君王和臣子不用礼贤下士的方式招致他们,住所近在咫尺但人却难以接近。这种解释的意义比毛氏的更深刻”。陈乔枞《齐诗遗说考》中说;毛氏的序认为这首诗是讽刺社会混乱,男女中有不等待礼仪而相互私奔的人。姜炳璋《诗序广义》中说:晋代酒泉太守马岌求见宋纤但没有见到,写下铭文说:‘红色的山崖百尺高,青色的墙壁千寻长,住所近在咫尺但人却难以接近,实在让我心中忧愁。’玩味《易林》和这篇铭文,都是认为这首诗与《林杜》《缁衣》主旨相同,大概是说贤人居住在郑国的东门,君王和臣子没有人能够用礼贤下士的方式招致他们,住所近在咫尺但人却难以接近,诗中表达了有一种可望而不可即的意思,不一定就是讽刺淫乱私奔的诗,那么齐诗的说法大概与毛诗的说法不同了。”

There is a sign of being eager for quick success in the time of reform, so it is warned that going on an expedition is dangerous and adhering to the right path also has harm. Reform is not an easy thing and has many twists and turns. People like Wu Qi, Shang Yang, and Wang Anshi in history are all like this. Only with sincere intention and firm will can one succeed. [Contrary to my intention], it makes me sad. It is used to interpret the second line of the upper trigram of Hexagram Ding: "There are real things in the ding (symbolizing having talent and strength), my enemy is ill (cannot harm me), cannot approach me, (seemingly dangerous at first but finally harmless)." This line is yang and firm and full, in the middle position of the lower trigram, and responds to the fifth line of the upper trigram. It is like a heavy minister promoting reform, with full virtue. The reform also has real content, so although there are the hatreds of the opponents, it can finally avoid harm and obtain good fortune. Shang's annotation: "Huang Pilie said: It is said in the 'Zhengyi': Universally check various versions and all write 'Tan', and now the fixed version writes 'Chan'. It is said in the 'Shiwen': 'Tan', the pronunciation is 'Shan', according to the original meaning of the character, it should be written as 'Chan' and so on. Now in the 'Yilin', it just writes 'Tan', which shows that when writing the 'Yilin', it was still the character 'Tan', which is consistent with Kong Yingda's annotation. Now writing 'Chan', it seems correct, but actually it is wrong. The 'Yilin' can prove the wrong characters in the classics. According to: Mao thought this poem was to satirize the promiscuity and elopement of men and women, while Jiao thought that the virtuous person lived at the east gate of the State of Zheng, and the king and the ministers did not attract them in the way of respecting the virtuous and the talented. The meaning of this explanation is deeper than that of Mao's." Chen Qiaocong said in the "Qi Shi Yi Shuo Kao"; Mao's preface thought that this poem was to satirize the social chaos, and there were men and women who eloped with each other without waiting for the etiquette. Jiang Bingzhang said in the "Shi Xu Guang Yi": Ma Ji, the governor of Jiuquan in the Jin Dynasty, wanted to meet Song Xian but failed, and wrote an inscription saying: 'The red cliff is a hundred feet high, the green wall is a thousand xun long, the residence is close at hand but the person is difficult to approach, which really makes me sad in my heart.' Pondering the 'Yilin' and this inscription, they all think that this poem has the same theme as the 'Lindu' and the 'Ziyi'. It is probably said that the virtuous person lives at the east gate of the State of Zheng, and no one among the king and the ministers can attract them in the way of respecting the virtuous and the talented. The residence is close at hand but the person is difficult to approach. The poem expresses a meaning of being within sight but beyond reach. It is not necessarily a poem satirizing promiscuity and elopement. Then the statement of the Qi School of Poetry is probably different from that of the Mao School of Poetry."

 

1395賁之震[鳧遇稻蘆]釋賁九三"賁如, 濡如, 永貞吉." [甘樂䵂鰌]喜愛大麥與魚鰍. 䆁鼎九二"鼎有實, 我仇有疾, 不我能即, 吉." [雖驅不去]釋震六五"震往來厲, 億無喪, 有事." 此爻陰柔的處尊, 上往下則遇上六相敵, 下來則乘九四有失, 故言往來厲. 但此爻柔而居中, 能夠以危懼之心慎守中道, 即可萬無一失. [集注]0814同人之升, 2600損之解.

1397 贲卦变为渐卦 [谗佞小人所说的话,言辞不能自圆其说(不可信)],用来解释贲卦六二爻的象辞 “文饰自己的胡须,是因为与上位者一起兴起”。 [像虎狼一样的祸患],用来解释艮卦六四爻辞 “抑止自身(的行为),没有过错” 。这一爻已经进入上卦,所以有抑止人体上身(行为)的象征,又阴柔居于阴柔之位得正,能够在应当停止的地方停止,自我控制而不妄动,所以没有过错。 [不会对我造成残害],用来解释渐卦的象辞 “山上有树木,是渐卦。君子因此要蓄积贤德,改善风俗” 。

1398 贲卦变为归妹卦 [张开罗网捕捉斑鸠,兔子却遭受了灾祸(误触罗网)],用来解释贲卦九三爻辞 “文饰得光泽柔润,长久坚守正道吉利”。尚氏注释 “丽,《左传・宣公十二年》中‘射麋丽龟’的注释说:丽,是附着的意思。意思是张开罗网本来是用来捕捉斑鸠的,没想到兔子却遭遇灾祸而被捕了”。 [雌雄都被捕获],渐卦九五爻的象辞 “最终没有人能够战胜它,吉利,实现了自己的愿望” 。 [被罗网所伤害],用来解释归妹卦的象辞 “泽上有雷,是归妹卦。君子因此要始终保持良好的结局,知道可能出现的弊端” 。

1401賁之巽[懷璧越鄉, 不可遠行]釋賁初九"賁其趾, 舍車而徒." [蔡侯兩裘]釋旅初六"旅瑣瑣. 斯其所, 取災." 丁注"左氏定三年傳:蔡昭侯為兩佩與兩裘以如楚, 獻一佩一裘於昭王, 昭王服之以享蔡侯. 蔡侯亦服其一. 子常欲之, 弗與, 三年止之."[久苦流離]釋巽九三象"頻𢁉之吝, 志窮也." 郭注”此爻陽剛而居下卦的極位, 上為六四陰柔所乘, 祗好顰蹙地勉為其難, 委曲謙順於上, 而並非心甘情願, 故言吝.”

1401 贲卦变为巽卦 [怀揣着宝玉离开家乡,不可以远行(有危险)],用来解释贲卦初九爻辞 “文饰自己的脚趾,舍弃车子而步行”。 [蔡侯有两件皮衣(却因此招祸)],用来解释旅卦初六爻辞 “旅行时行为卑琐,到达自己的处所,会招来灾祸”。丁氏注释 “《左传・定公三年》记载:蔡昭侯制作了两副玉佩和两件皮衣前往楚国,献给楚昭王一副玉佩和一件皮衣,楚昭王穿上(皮衣)宴请蔡侯。蔡侯也穿上了其中一件。子常想要蔡侯的玉佩和皮衣,蔡侯不给,子常就把蔡侯扣留了三年”。 [长久地遭受流离失所的痛苦],用来解释巽卦九三爻的象辞 “频频忧愁而有憾惜,是因为志向困穷”。郭氏注释 “这一爻阳刚居于下卦的极位,上面被六四爻的阴柔所乘凌,只好皱着眉头勉强去做,委屈地对上柔顺,却并非心甘情愿,所以说有憾惜”。

It has to frown and reluctantly do it, and submissively be gentle to the superior in a grievance way, but it is not willing from the heart, so it is said there is regret."

1404 贲卦变为节卦 [君主英明圣哲,呼唤他的朋友(贤才)],用来解释贲卦上九爻的象辞 “以白色文饰,没有过错”。 [是彰显道德的人(贤德之辈)],用来解释涣卦六四爻的象辞 “涣散自己的小团体,大为吉利,是因为道德光明宏大”。意思是涣散其小集团,必定大获吉祥,是说它的德行十分广大。 [可以用礼贤下士的方式任用人才],“礼仕”,即礼贤下士,选拔贤能任用。用来解释节卦九五爻辞 “甘于节俭节制,吉利,前往会受到崇尚”。郭氏注释 “这一爻阳刚中正居于尊位,能够以其盛大的德行心甘情愿、愉快地节制天下,并且以此来节制自己,所以能够畅通无阻,前往会受到崇尚”。 [集合注释]2739 条是夬卦变震卦。

英文:1404 Hexagram Bi changes into Hexagram Jie. [The monarch is wise and sage, and calls his friends (virtuous talents)], which is used to interpret the Image statement of the top ninth line of Hexagram Bi: "Be decorated with white, there is no fault." [They are the people who show the morality (the virtuous people)], which is used to interpret the Image statement of the fourth line of the upper trigram of Hexagram Huan: "Disperse one's own small group, it is extremely auspicious, because the morality is bright and grand." It means to disperse the small group, and it will surely obtain great good fortune. It means that its virtue is very vast. [Can appoint talents in the way of respecting the virtuous and the talented], "Lishi" means respecting the virtuous and the talented and selecting and appointing the capable. It is used to interpret the fifth line of the upper trigram of Hexagram Jie: "Be willing to be thrifty and restrained, it is auspicious, going there will be respected." Guo's annotation: "This line is yang and firm, middle and righteous in the honorable position. It can willingly and happily restrain the world with its great virtue, and also restrain itself with this. So it can be unobstructed and will be respected when going there." 1405賁之中孚[騎豚逐羊, 不見所望]釋賁九三"賁如, 濡如, 永貞吉." 與其過度追求外表的榮華, 不如堅守內在的美德, 才能永保榮景. 説文”豚, 小豕也.” 乾值亥, 豚也. 故0039乾之蹇首句乾卦, 㹠取象於乾. 説卦”艮為門闕” 故艮象宗廟, 以豚為牲. 祭祀宗廟. 故艮為豚. 先天艮西北, 后天乾西北, 故乾及艮均有豕象. 賁上卦為艮, 故艮為豚. 尚注焦氏易詁卷七第117頁”賁之中孚云:騎豚逐羊. 中孚震為騎, 艮為豚.” 尚注應取象於賁, 而非中孚.[徑涉虎廬]釋節六三”不節若, 則嗟若, 無咎.” 言行為不加節制, 但知嗟歎改悔, 可無禍害. [亡豚失羊]釋中孚六三“得敵, 或鼓或敝, 或泣或歌."言自樹其敵而不知所措. [集注]0039乾之蹇, 2340家人之明夷.

1405 贲卦变为中孚卦 [骑着小猪去追逐羊,没有得到所期望的结果],用来解释贲卦九三爻辞 “文饰得光泽柔润,长久坚守正道吉利”。与其过度追求外表的荣华,不如坚守内在的美德,才能永远保持繁荣的景象。《说文解字》中说 “豚,是小猪的意思”。乾卦对应亥时,亥对应的动物是猪(豚)。所以 0039 条乾卦变为蹇卦的首句中,“㹠(豚)” 的取象来自乾卦。《说卦》中说 “艮卦象征门阙”,所以艮卦象征宗庙,用小猪作为祭祀的牺牲来祭祀宗庙。所以艮卦有小猪(豚)的象征。在先天八卦中艮卦位于西北方位,后天八卦中乾卦位于西北方位,所以乾卦和艮卦都有猪的象征。贲卦的上卦是艮卦,所以艮卦为豚。尚氏注释《焦氏易诂》卷七第 117 页中说 “贲卦变为中孚卦说:骑着小猪追逐羊。中孚卦中震卦象征骑,艮卦象征小猪”。尚氏的注释应该取象于贲卦,而不是中孚卦。 [径直涉入老虎的巢穴],用来解释节卦六三爻辞 “行为不加节制,就会叹息,没有过错”。意思是行为不加节制,但知道叹息并悔改,可没有灾祸。 [丢失了小猪和羊],用来解释中孚卦六三爻辞 “遭遇敌人,有的人击鼓进攻,有的人疲惫败退,有的人哭泣,有的人歌唱”。意思是自己树立了敌人而不知所措。 [集合注释]0039 条是乾卦变蹇卦,2340 条是家人卦变明夷卦。

In the "Shuowen Jiezi", it is said: "Tun means a little pig." Hexagram Qian corresponds to the time of Hai, and the animal corresponding to Hai is the pig (Tun). So in the first sentence of Hexagram Qian changing into Hexagram Jian in item 0039, the image-taking of "Huan (Tun)" comes from Hexagram Qian. In the "Shuogua", it is said: "Hexagram Gen symbolizes the gate tower." So Hexagram Gen symbolizes the ancestral temple, and a little pig is used as a sacrificial victim to sacrifice to the ancestral temple. So Hexagram Gen has the symbol of a little pig (Tun). In the Innate Eight Trigrams, Hexagram Gen is in the northwest direction, and in the Later Heaven Eight Trigrams, Hexagram Qian is in the northwest direction. So both Hexagram Qian and Hexagram Gen have the symbol of a pig. The upper trigram of Hexagram Bi is Hexagram Gen, so Hexagram Gen is Tun. Shang's annotation in Page 117 of Volume Seven of "Jiao's Interpretation of the Yijing" says: "When Hexagram Bi changes into Hexagram Zhongfu, it says: Ride a little pig to chase the sheep. In Hexagram Zhongfu, Hexagram Zhen symbolizes riding, and Hexagram Gen symbolizes a little pig." Shang's annotation should take the image from Hexagram Bi, not Hexagram Zhongfu. [Straightforwardly step into the tiger's den], which is used to interpret the third line of the upper trigram of Hexagram Jie: "If the behavior is not restrained, there will be a sigh, there is no fault." It means that if the behavior is not restrained, but one knows to sigh and repent, there will be no disaster. [Lose the little pig and the sheep], which is used to interpret the third line of the upper trigram of Hexagram Zhongfu: "Encounter the enemy, some people beat the drum to attack, some people are tired and retreat, some people cry, and some people sing." It means that one sets up an enemy for oneself and doesn't know what to do. [Collected Annotations] The 0039th item is that Hexagram Qian changes into Hexagram Jian, and the 2340th item is that Hexagram Jiaren changes into Hexagram Mingyi.

1406 贲卦变为小过卦 [黑黄色的草木枯萎倒下,行路的人疲惫不堪],用来解释贲卦初九爻辞 “文饰自己的脚趾,舍弃车子而步行”。意思是站稳脚步,把安闲的步行当作乘车,一步一个脚印。 [服役的男子面容憔悴],用来解释中孚卦六三爻辞 “遭遇敌人,有的人击鼓进攻,有的人疲惫败退,有的人哭泣,有的人歌唱”。 [未出嫁的女子害怕哀伤],“处子”,指未出嫁且仍保有贞操的女子。指女友或未婚妻。用来解释小过卦九四爻辞 “没有过错,不要过分刚强而要相遇合,前往有危险一定要警戒,不要施展(刚猛),长久坚守正道”。意思是不可过于刚强,应当警戒危险、坚守正道。 [集合注释]0049 条是乾卦变革卦,0403 条是师卦变临卦,3252 条是震卦变艮卦。

[The unmarried woman is afraid and sad], "Chuzhi" refers to an unmarried woman who still retains her virginity. It refers to a girlfriend or a fiancée. It is used to interpret the fourth line of the upper trigram of Hexagram Xiaoguo: "There is no fault, do not be too firm and strong but should meet and combine, there is danger when going there and must be on guard, do not display (the fierce and strong), adhere to the right path for a long time." It means that one should not be too firm and strong, and should be on guard against danger and adhere to the right path. 1407賁之既濟[右手掩目, 不見長叔]釋賁六二象"賁其須, 與上興也." [失其所得]釋小過九四"無咎, 弗過遇之, 往厲必戒, 勿用, 永貞." [悔吝相仍]䆁既濟上六"濡其首, 厲." 郭注”此爻處既濟卦的極位, 事業至成, 反轉未成, 此時當謹慎戒懼, 或可保無虞, 若一味盲動. 則必如狐之渡河, 濡其首而厲.”

1407 贲卦变为既济卦 [用右手遮住眼睛,就看不见自己的长叔],用来解释贲卦六二爻的象辞 “文饰自己的胡须,是因为与上位者一起兴起”。 [失去了自己所得到的东西],用来解释小过卦九四爻辞 “没有过错,不要过分刚强而要相遇合,前往有危险一定要警戒,不要施展(刚猛),长久坚守正道”。 [悔恨和遗憾接连不断],用来解释既济卦上六爻辞 “(如同狐狸渡河)沾湿了头部,有危险”。郭氏注释 “这一爻处于既济卦的极位,事业到了成功的时候,反而有不成功的可能,此时应当谨慎戒惧,或许可以保证没有忧患,如果一味盲目行动,那么必定如同狐狸渡河,沾湿了头部而有危险”。

1408 贲卦变为未济卦 [脱下帽子,推荐贤能之士,走出朝廷的大门],用来解释贲卦六二爻的象辞 “文饰自己的胡须,是因为与上位者一起兴起”。 [礼仪体统不端正],用来解释既济卦的象辞 “水在火的上面,是既济卦。君子因此要思考忧患并预先防范”。 [盗贼和邪恶之徒成为祸患],用来解释未济卦的象辞 “火在水的上面,是未济卦。君子因此要谨慎地辨别事物,使它们各居其位”。 [集合注释 0262]否卦变兑卦。
